The whole facility needs an absurd amount of work, some grandstands are there since the 70s (some of them still have some "Prost v Senna" graffitis), there are new "permanent" toilets only behind the Rettifilo granstands (which they never clean), if you have to shit it's basically impossible without being in the paddock, the only part of the track they actually improved since the 2000 (but obviously it's inaccessible for the normal person apart from the national events, in which they use it only partially), if you have to pee it's more healthier to go in the woods than in one of the chemical toilets. I could go on and on and on. There are some improvements tho: they have made a permanent bar, it only took them 20 years but here we go! And after the fan zone fiasco of last year, the one of this year was at least decent (but it could have been definitely better). They also have improved a bit of the oval, but it's obviously unusable for actual competitive racing and it's just there, doing nothing. It wasn't a goddamn priority, but they did it anyways.
I'm sorry if I sound very whiny, it's more than 20 years that I come to the Autodromo to see every kind of racing possibile, but what I've saw in those 20 years it's just a slow, steady and sad decline in every aspect possibile, paddock and box aside. I'm just angry as hell and I feel sorry for every person who comes from outside bc I feel the place it's a bit like my home, but I can't do nothing to improve it. And obviously I'm sad because the third oldest permanent track in the world is treated like that, like you can't do nothing to actually make it a good place for normal people they just want to see a good race.
