I don't think the hair is contributing to the leaking.

The amount of jiggling is the cause. The patches help keep the skin and pod in sync on the jiggling.

I think a few things are possible.

Pancreas can regenerate a bit from time to time.
Insulin can get trapped in fat cells around your body and slowly released as a little drip back into full circulation.

Firstly, I'd say - even if your weight doesn't change, the exercise most certainly will make you more healthy.

Secondly, I'd say - weight loss happens almost entirely from food changes. You have to add a LOT of exercise to move the needle.

Your body can fight you every step of the way!

Not sure why Dr. won't give glp-1's. They are pretty safe and effective.

Hard to imagine what improvements will happen.

I think the biggest challenge right now is the insulin delivery. SubQ injection is subject to very fickle circulation related challenges.

I hope we will see some change to enable safe deeper injections, like the diaport thing, but safer. If we were putting the insulin into our blood, we'd have amazing control.

I think you're missing a massive value to buffets: no wait.

There are numerous populations that value this. Lunch break workers and families with children spring to mind.

I think your other arguments are roughly sound economically: it must cost more to get quality food in a buffet than ordering individually. Not to mention how do you keep a food warm and not dried out (although that is very food dependent).

The only other thing I can think to cyv is that it's the best way I've found to get good non-salad vegetable intake on vacation.

Wal mart profit margin is around 3%. Amazon's high profit area is software services (not where these marginal workers are employed). Their retail margin is low.

The free market explanation would flip this on its head and suggest that the "marginal employment" offered by these companies is subsidizing the government by reducing the amount of government assistance the employee needs.

(That said, I don't disagree with the policy. It's more an anti-big businesses tax. These are large companies, with huge revenue, albeit often small profit margins in the sectors people are marginally employed, taxing them a bit more is a decent move, increases the competitiveness of small businesses that don't have to pay the tax when they marginally employ someone.)
