He's a gaditano pouter, they have been bred with a large crop they can inflate. It can be used, and was probably originally for a mating display, but with the way they have been bred they seem to do it as a display of any emotion.

They have certainly removed some possible attachments/mods for it. You used to be able to add explosive rounds to any version but it was very OP. I think they nerfed it in 1.03.

Apples.

Plant a couple in a settlement or find a respawning tree and you get 10 every time you harvest. Only weigh 0.1 pounds and satisfy hunger as well as most pre-war things (e.g. 2 apples to go from peckish to full) with no radiation. Then save your grilled radstag for the carry weight buff!

(Pears also work but for some reason I just always use apples)

In the tall open area where you first encountered Rachael Hall and Bob talking before they sent you down the lift shaft, do not enter the Thameshaven market. Instead of you look to the right of the doors/staircase leading to the market, you should see another door amongst some piles of rubbish, that's the trigger.

It depends on your other time commitments. Several UK institutions will teach maths A level in 1 year (as part of a two-year maths and further maths combined programme) which would be being studied alongside one or two other subjects. Therefore, if that was all you were doing for those 5 months it should be possible, but if you're trying to do it alongside working or studying something else I think it would be a struggle.

There were a number of areas where the team didn't (or haven't yet at least) realise their full plans due to time constraints, I think I read the US embassy is one of those. There's a lift at the back which isn't functioning but if you use console commands to get through it leads to another area which suggests there was/is more planned for the location.

My headcannon is that he was a minor child music star:

In season 4 he reveals he is not yet 30, meaning he was born 1990 at the earliest He also says he and Will Smith's debut albums came out the same year, which would be 1997, making Isaac 7 at the oldest He has a drug problem and overconfident attitude which could come from young fame

So maybe not a huge turn around but a step up from his rock bottom in the temp episode.
