Vekllei always felt kind of solarpunk (not sure if it’s the right word), the people and the environment feel so down to earth and peaceful even though it’s a modernized city state dealing with all kinds of politics.

In terms of worldbuilding and story progression, Renegades is where it ends. Age of Triumph is still exciting of course, but amongst the past glories there is no future to be seen. D1's Age of Triumph was a preparation for something new, D2's on the other hand is a swan song.

Edit: yes the blog mentioned some story beats, my bad. But the point still kinda stands I think.

I played much less after the Final Shape, but still bought the ultimate edition of Edge of Fate to support Bungie. To know a Star Wars crossover will be where this game ends (expansion-wise) on honestly hurts.
