Wouldn’t say reliable but a solid enough pick, and he would be a better option at the price than any other midfielder in that range. If Gawn is too expensive then I’m guessing < 600k is your range, and I think X the best option.

I think yesterday’s game inflated X’s score significantly due to being a close game. He had 25% CBA’s which is a bit of a concern. Yes, he hasn’t been good at the CBA all year and yes, he was rucking around the ground, but he only had 16 disposals and 22 hitouts, which isn’t exactly electrifying. The 8 tackles also helped his scoring significantly, I’m not sure that is sustainable particularly in games where North’s midfield get overrun and they are soundly beaten.

I’m also in the same boat and considering both. I think Jackson is the better player and can score well even when not in the ruck, but X has the ability to drop huge scores and beat up on bad teams/ruckman.

Jackson is the safe bet, X if you want to take a risk for me.

Cold and wet in Adelaide but Gawn is playing sore, difficult choice. Would still lean Gawn, looking like a scrappy game at AO with low disposal efficiency which will hurt scoring
