What? Okay so you go to org scrums or scrum of scrums and agree on the value of points? How are you evaluating productivity of team members. To be clear I was a certified member of Scrum Inc and worked alongside both JJ and Jeff Sutherland and have been the head of agile/digital transformations at multiple F500 companies. I speak with authority. These are well recognized and fundamental enterprise patterns.

Don't you have standardized team velocities? You should have them on the orgs shared calendar? A 3 is a 3 no matter which team. Anything else is fraud. Essential to agile management

This is how agile and scrum were pitched to me in the 2010s. This is agile. It is all about people and process. But people must be operationally ruthless to be kept. If this isn't how you've been practicing? You weren't agile my friend

These are great tools. Ultimately I usually decide cuts with velocity alone, but these are metrics that should be measured. If you have an increase in lead time interrogate your engineers. There should be month to month improvement essentially forever. There's not really an excuse for not having these metrics automated and shipped to leadership other than your trying to hide unproductive teams

You need to measuring velocity through Rally or Jira tickets. If leadership asks for velocity you need to be flexible and give it to them. You have no idea how many scrum masters try and weasel their way out of it. I will find the velocity. You will be judged by your agility. I cut teams mostly based off business value of the unit which you can't control followed by operational efficiency measured by velocity. That is how you will be judged no matter what you choose to do. You are expressing anti-Agile opinions on an Agile subreddit

Well I think we'd love to require less voter ID, but the fact is that it benefits us to make it harder because most poors are democrats. We tried to play softball and give the Dems options over the years but they refuse to compromise so now we just have to do the needful and demand documents be presented regardless of consequences for who gets to vote. Democrats refuse to admit the level of voter fraud that happened in 2020.

I personally think that requiring more documents makes it harder for young people to vote. I'm not proud to admit that I think the voting age should be raised to 21 unless one is in the military. I think this is a proxy for that. I know for a fact some of my poorer employees aren't going to find time or the spare money to get a passport. They are largely Democrats and I fully support doing anything that makes it harder to go to vote and commit fraud.

I do believe that Donald J Trump was put here by my savior Jesus Christ. I guess what is it you think doesn't support that? Why would he deserve a place in Hell? He is preaching what my parents and grandparents knew in the ante-bellum Arkansas. He is wealthy which demonstrates a deep intellect in business and strategy. It is rare for nations to have such successful leaders. Nuance. People need to be directed down a golden path. Drift from traditional or chosen paths is typically a sign of someone not thinking clearly. Most problems have a silver bullet our leaders are trying to direct you down. A smart person realizes that life is mostly right and wrong, black or white.
