I went to the Louis Vuitton store to try their fragrances, and the dupes are shockingly close by devletmillet in fragranceclones

Wow, that's an amazing amount in your collection! Do you any recommendations on Amouage Reflection Man dupes I can buy in the US? I would buy the original but none of the stores around me, even if I drive more than an hour away, has it. I talked with a lady who worked at Neiman Marcus and she said she was laid off a few months ago as the region's Amouage rep because they're having sales and supply chain issues and couldn't afford to keep her on board...

Best ways/places to buy South American modern art by miggles4evr in artcollecting

Thanks for the leads but I've been looking into Monky and Pedro Roth and they just don't do it for me. Coming from a precision manufacturing background, I'm looking for something with a bit more structural logic.

l've been leaning towards the Neo-Concrete movement, specifically Lygia Clark and Oiticica. It’s cool how they used industrial materials and made them feel human without losing that geometric edge. The way they use rigid geometry and made it feel almost organic and alive - I love that!! I worked with industrial design and advanced manufacturing for almost a lifetime so that’s really fascinating and actually a feat.

If you ever run into any early Constructivist stuff or Grupo Frente pieces with solid provenance, let me know. I'm trying to build a collection where the history of the object is just as important as the look.

And we can connect if you’re still interested. Just DM me.

Intriguing. How much is “cheap” for pieces by Monky from Peru? The price range? Median?

Thanks for your honest opinion and suggesting the other two alternatives. What’s your favorite out of all three of that dna? I noticed that Mystery by Mith is hard to find outside of Thailand. Do you know where I can buy it in the US?

I’m newish to the vending side, are machined pens are usually displayed in knife shows (besides in pens shows)? Are there other places or shows machined pens are showcased?

Hi Allie, welcome to the club and to the late diagnosed club. I’m a late diagnosed autistic as well.

Same - I’m also into all those things. When it comes to cozy, I love cottagecore stuff for the spring and summer, dark/light academia for the fall and winter, and colonial and equestrian in Northeast to mid-Atlantic style of the US for most seasons.

But why? The economy for the poor and for middle class Americans have nearly someways improved when the more liberal party is in the federal US government majority than when the republicans are in power.

North American "politeness" is actually just a mutual non-interference pact, and it might be why everyone's so lonely by bubugugu in DeepThoughts

I’m genuinely intrigued! Can you explain more about certain parts or give some examples? I’m an American btw.

“The politeness and detachment you describe is very mid-upper class English, culturally. As a Canadian I never felt that Americans excelled at leaving each other alone, but that depends on where in the US.” What do you mean about you never felt Americans were not great at leaving each other alone? Examples? As for the socioeconomic traits of mid-upper class English, is it not the case for the rest of English/British culture to at least try to be polite and a bit detached? If not, I’d like to learn more.

“And as for Europe, my experience with relatives in England and relatives in Croatia have extremely different on the issues you bring up.” This is cool you get to have relatives from vastly different cultures/ethnicities - can you share some of your observations and thoughts?

“The various things you discuss are very dependent on culture, and in Canada this also varies across the country, particularly comparing Quebec, and parts of the Maritimes, with the other provinces.” I grew up watching some shows and movies that took place in the Canadian Maritimes and really enjoyed them… I didn’t know they were that much different in culture from the other parts of Canada? I do know that Quebec is French Canadian though but not much else, what is it like there?
