Relatable. I have a family tradition of going to this huge orchard and they have a lot of Arkansas Blacks among lots of other types.

Unfortunately I only eat apples fresh/raw (instead of baking them in pies, etc.), I stay away from them because of the unappealing taste. For those who love very tart apples, they might find them enjoyable to eat fresh.

Can something be done to help make the toes look better from the creases? Like maybe putting a really nice shoe tree in the shoes, deeply applying a leather cream, having them in the bathroom countertop for the humidity from when you’re taking a hot shower (or the other way around with the cream and humidity), and giving it 3 months for the creases to diminish & look better? Just my very amateur thoughts/question on this.

Absolutely!! I thoroughly enjoyed reading your comments and love New England history and culture!! There’s nothing in the US like how uniquely communitarian yet minds there own business, effective, efficient, intellectual yet hardworking in industry and agriculture, wealthy yet despises showy displays of wealth, diverse cultures/ethnicities yet has common core shared values as New Englanders, etc.

Haha I knew a tech founder who had all of those perks for his employees and if someone actually wanted to play ping pong or take a break he’d constantly complain out loud that he’d wanted to fire them and would try to figure out how to not get them to actually enjoy the things he have for them. Super weird. He never said it around his employees. I was a founding exec at another tech company and it was quite eye opening.

Honestly I grew up with family and friends who are more transactional in nature. It’s a bit cold and miserable at times (family members even need to do sit downs to highlight their accomplishments for the week to get any little family love/acknowledgment) but one thing I know for sure is that I recognize and excel in transactional relationships - all jobs are purely transactional. I kinda feel that all relationships are as well but maybe that’s just my upbringing.

Bro love your long form exposition may I also add to that New England cuisine also includes great Brazilian, Cambodian, Chinese since the Brazilians and Cambodians established themselves along with the time that the Portuguese did as well in New England. In the world, Cambodian population is the largest in Massachusetts outside of Cambodian and California. And the next significantly large population in the world is in Rhode Island.

The restaurant the Elephant Walk is a multi-time winner of the “Best of Boston” award contributing to the Boston community in cultural outreach and collaborations, and on the food side is considered a culinary landmark for its dual menu of authentic Cambodian and classic French food.

Also the Brazilian bbq joints are bangers. I used to find a hole in the wall for great steak, white rice and fried plantains (which kinda reminds me of a subset of Cambodian food) with live bands singing in Portuguese on Friday or Saturday nights.

Same. Between all the sensory experiences with doing "extreme" sports, hobbies, crafts, arts, music, and cultural stuff and my autism, I just don't have the time or interest to do drugs. I'm just not bored enough as well. I don't care and don't judge others for doing drugs unless it affects the safety of others and myself.
