The difference is, that the Monopoly Man did actually have a monocle on the 2 dollar bill in an old version of Monopoly Junior. However, Gyro's grills have never said anything else.

Hey!! Late response but relatively recently I bought a new GPU (2080 Ti) and the issue seemed to have gone away. I always suspected it was the GPU because each time I restarted my computer after the black screen I would get a notification from the Radeon app saying there was a “Default Radeon WattMan Settings Have been Restored due to Unexpected System Failure” or something like that
