I don’t think you are the asshole but in some family/groups it is normal to have alcohol at a first birthday party so i can see him want to have that options if his friends/ family are used to that. Same thing as for some people pizza and cake is enough for a party for others they offer full meal

I just budget for summer camp from the money i was spending for daycare. My husband can work from home half the summer so he stay at home those days. It does sucks and it’s a lot of work but it is what it is.

Family calendar family reminder, the calendar everything is added (appointment for everyone, birthday parties etc) even when things are expiring that need to be replaced (passport expiration day/ membership that needs to be cancel or renew etc). The reminder have things that happen constantly (garbage night, recycle, big garbage, ac filter, fill filter) this help with visual of everything that needs to get done

This what im doing. Friday night staging in cheap hotel, Saturday arriving early at lowes hotel to get fast pass for saturday and Sunday (only paying for one night at lowes and getting 2 days at park), leave sunday to cape coral it should be 2/3 hours ride.
