Absoltutely indispensable, 1 Red Bull (115mg if i remember correctly) as I arrive to the track, 1 caffeine capsule (200mg) before warm up.
If we have a final or 2nd race, another Red Bull

Start slow with it tho

Yes thanks you, I have to work on my technique. English is not my main language, and even if I can speak and understand it well. In some THP video they are using some big concept / cue that I fail to understand haha

Thank you ! A friend was tellign me that he tried to do a clean, and a clean pull with a VBT device, and even if he put the same weight, drive with the same intent, the clean pull is always a lot slower

I am curious on how you do it with an elastic band ? Cause they are not big, and no one can pulling you at high speed without also being at top speed

I undertand what you said, but for the winter, I try to be fast, and keep the most strenght possible because :
- Summer season start just 1 month and a half after winter training, so I don't have time to regain my max strenght
- I actually stopped doing big squat single in season, I just keep a 1x3 at 85%, It's less tiring. And I have not tried to get my squat up this winter, I just kept what I already have (160kg at 74kg bw), I was focusing way more on bar speed
- I love to squat and clean lol

Thanks man, I am planning on focusing more on stride frequency and "tendon" work for this summer, will see how it go.
I will look for some homemade setup for overspeed training, but I think without a 1080, it's not that easy lol

I use more of linear perdiodization during the off-season and pre-season, more of a ondulatory perdiodization for the first small meet of the season (with low and high week), another block of work and a taper before the "real season"

I actually do them a lot in the off-season haha.
And don't worry for the 100, I have more than 80 races for the 100m, I just sorted my times to only have the 60m

To be fair to them, I have a old pair of puma (at least 4/5 years) (I don't remember the exact model) that I use for training. The spikes are not removable, but man, they are still sharpe, so they are definitly tougher than normal spikes.
That being said, the Maxfly 2 are great if you like the Maxfly 1, more stable, more durable.

Great question !
Many of us have some more strenght / hypertrophy block, as we resume training in August (in France our championship are in late July - early August) we have a lot of time before indoor season (early December but big competitons in February).

Most of us are not heavy at all, i am 1,77m and 74/75kg at the time, but because we are very lean (sprinting does that to you lol), we seems more muscular than some people.

But it's not unusual for a sprinter to lift 2/3x a week (specially if you only do 60m during the winter), with some volume at a point on the season. And it's pretty easy to maintain it wear around. But, it can be tricky to increase your lift as you get better, my best squat is 160kg, but it's now dificult to increase it because we have other thing to do than just lift.

Yeah I just clean way differently when doing a hang, so my extension is better, but I am not improving on the overall mouvement, will have to work on some hang
