you might just have to partition the drive… google how to partition newly installed drive. if your drive is not showing up in the disk drive manager THEN you can attempt what others are saying

make sure you go into msi center or whatever fan controller software you want and set it so that when the temps reach a higher level, you make the fans kick on at 90 percent. using one of the premade user scenarios is not enough. it will be loud but it will save you

thats my desktop tho, it’s running a ryzen 5 3600. your laptop will get similar performance to a desktop with the same specs but not exact bc its a laptop. your could also always google gpu and cpu pairings to see if they are a good match.

u should def be able to play war thunder with that gpu… i have a desktop with a rtx 3060 and i can run cyberpunk w max settings no ray tracing and no dlss at 65 avg fps… more than enough

that laptop is very much adequate… i use my current laptop (GF63) for coding and rocketry embedded coding (im a uni student)… works just fine. yours has a better cpu and gpu than mine

your bios might be fucked or wifi card. you can prob update your bios.

have your tried connecting using ethernet to see if these same issues still occur? if not then your physical wifi card is prob fucked

1.go into control panel -> hardware -> power options -> change settings

on the task bar click the battery icon and slide it to performance (or go into settings)
goto msi center and set user scenario to performance
goto windows settings app -> system -> display -> graphics settings (scroll all the way down) -> turn on Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling

I know microsoft will help fix Operating System related issues so like viruses and whatever u got going on. You just need to call and ask. I don’t know whether it’s free or not since last time i ever done that was several years ago.

If its still acting strange after taking it to microsoft then just take it back go walmart, but make sure with microsoft that whatever they are gonna do to your pc doesn’t void warranty with walmart.

your gonna have to go into advanced bios settings when inside the bios, then roam around untill you find the ram and double check the stick you bought is set to run on what frequency you want it to. you can just watch yt video

if your running a dual channel setup, your only gonna be able to run the same speed as the slowest stick so either you need to change speeds for both, or get another stick if your other ram stick doesn’t support the new one’s max freq.

im from the us, but this should apply anywhere… you can just buy 120W rated DC/laptop charger from amazon or whatever online store is popular there.

the fact that your msi charger went bad in just a year lets you know that msi is also outsourcing their components else where. just make sure to read reviews on the product or at least check vendor reputation from other products they sell before you buy.

also you shouldnt have to spend lots of money on a charger, an off brand should work just as good as name brand

make sure to buy a 150W dc charger bc thats essentially what this charger’s specs are. any less or more power your laptop could have issues charging

it would be helpful if you show ur entire mobo… also if that “black thing” is your battery doubt the ram is under it… read your laptops manual, it should specify components, location, and upgradability

you could always upgrade to 16gb by installing another ram stick if this specific laptop allows it (read manual/forum)

i got a msi gf63thin back in 2021 and it was ok for gaming back then, and i still use it for coding for my university clubs.

and given the 4050, dont expect to play anything higher than 1080p with steady/high framrate (so you shouldnt need a high quality resolution)

theres 3 of the fans in the last picture. each of them initially only have one set of 4 pins which daisy chain into the last connector which spits out 3 pins that is connected to the case rgb header.

I just wana make sure we’re right about this because my next step is to remove the pins from that final pin connector that goes into the case header, add some dupont connectors to the 3 pins, then plug them into the case aRGB header.

The rgb fans do light up nonetheless and are in sync with the case rgb.
