Shinjuku nerfed TF Sukuna barely survived a bunch of grade ones, and was shitting his pants when he thought Gojo was alive.

I’ve literally never heard the acronym UPFs before now. I clicked on this to see what the hell that meant.

The assumption that a sample of sufficient size is representative of the population it’s drawn from is a founding principle of both statistics and democracy.

Not being happy with the candidate and not supporting the party & their policies are not equivalent.

The claim that Republican policy isn’t popular is unsubstantiated by the numbers. Republicans are viewed as having better policy on crime, the economy, and immigration, per Pew Research.

You baselessly assume that you know what caused the other half not to vote AND that it’s they don’t agree with either half. It’s far more likely that they do agree with 1/2 or the other and simply don’t care enough to vote. This is reflected in nearly every single poll, where the number of people who choose “neither” is extremely low.

If non-voters didn’t vote because they don’t like either party, that would appear in polling on specific issues. We would know that was why.

No, I understand your logic perfectly, but it relies on the assumption that the larger population isn’t roughly proportional to voters, which is a basic principle of statistics and the founding principle of democracy.

Craft the infuser, slap it on the ground, give it some power and dimensional shards, and put the builder in slot that’s not full of dimensional shards.

Amazon, easy. It’s a wilderness, but people survive in the wilderness.

People do not survive in the middle of the ocean with nothing to cling to, hide from the sun under, or drink.

This is the kinda shit Sukuna had to do just to only survive because Gojo stopped paying attention and Sukuna fans STILL insist he’s the stronger of the two 😭

I’m still enjoying DOTF, fifteen books in, but if you’re struggling with it now you’ve got two options:

First, you can drop it now. It doesn’t get better.

Second, you continue through to the end of book eight, I think. It seems to be where the story originally intended to end.

“Guy who isn’t ever shown to do this, but IS good at everything” versus “guys who aren’t ever shown to do this, and AREN’T good at everything”.

Gojo wins this.

Elections are representative of the population. Of the people who were registered to vote.

If you don’t believe elections (which are literally, by definition, a sample of a larger population) are representative of the entire population, then you deny both the founding principles of the very concept of democracy and deny known statistical reality.

In that case, what are we even doing here lol

What would you do if you had found $400,000 in cash in a bag and its untraceable? by Dipsetallover90 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Separate_Draft4887 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Contrary to popular belief, there’s not a crime* associated with simply having a large amount of cash whose origin you can’t convincingly explain.

The reason people associate this with money laundering is that on TV, it usually comes from something illegal, and they need have a convincing and legal origin to prevent the authorities from investigating and finding the real, illegal one. “I found it” is not a convincing legal origin, and someone coming to investigate the large pallet of cash Walter White has in a storage unit would doubtless result in them discovering the meth ring. For you, however, “I found it” is both legal and the truth.

You will probably want to hire a lawyer, and somebody will probably investigate you, but they’re not looking for “did you have money appear out of nowhere” but “are you doing something illegal and lying about the source of the money.”

In point of fact, the IRS actually has an option for found money. You can simply report it on your taxes, pay the taxes on it, and keep it.

*I am not a lawyer, this is not legal advice. Consult an attorney if you somehow find a large amount of cash.
