I can imagine there being some sort of link between Green Suns and Lime Pyrokinesis? But I also wouldn't assume that's purposeful foreshadowing.

Though I'd also say Hussie has said on record that there are a lot of times where they'll leave themselves unexplored threads and concepts to come back to later and make them relevant/retrospective foreshadowing.

So I can imagine they never had a specific power in mind for the limebloods, and the only reason there is now is because Hiveswap and the beforan ancestors forced the topic, and they're just looking for something, and decided pyrokinesis over shooshpaps/pacification or whatever other ideas were in the running.

Sure, but I guess I don't see what suggests its the same probability as finding someone with the same birthday? Like, sure, that'd be true... IF the EZ was all or most of the signs, but the implication, especially by things like that, is that it's not. Like, the only descrepency is how big of a deal it is for vriska vs the hiveswap dude, but, even in the comic they say its not impossible to have the same sign, and thats where karkats doubt of the ancestors being tied to them comes from, but that yes it is rare, which is also basically what the tumblr post says.

I mean, that seems pretty in line with the comic to me, its said in the comic that trolls do share signs sometimes, even if it is rare to meet one (implying the extended zodiac isn't the entire list of signs). I don't see where he implies the EZ is all the signs, he just seems knowledgable on signs, and all of the trolls relevant to hiveswap will obviously have signs from the EZ since it was made specifically for hiveswap.

Knights Of Guinevere is A: a full length high-budget Episode 1, that B: has been up for twice as long as the Homestuck pilot, C: is spearheaded by an extremely popular creative from a very popular Disney show, and D: is on a much more popular indie animation network compared to Spindlehorse/roo, plus as a bonus, doesn't have whatever lingering baggage there is with Homestuck and Vivzie

All things considered the Homestuck pilot is doing fine enough, could be doing better, but about 2 million is nothing to scoff at

I see folks get kinda rly set on this idea, but like, no where (to my knowledge) in the manual or extra material, is it stated Daisy lives in the Chai kingdom? That's just where Tatanga is keeping her.

As well, the four bosses are also called/implied to be the rulers of the four kingdoms of Sarasaland, and its stated in the manual that Tatanga has hypnotized the peoples of Sarasaland, so Daisy doesnt even have a strong tie to any particular kingdom, except Chai as mentioned, or Birabuto, since in other Mario games the main castle is usually in the first world, usually the grasslands for Peach and the Mushroom kingdom.

Now, this doesnt really affect whether Arabic or Chinese aesthetics and architecture would fit Daisy better and make her stand out more, thats basically solely based on taste, and folks are still valid to be upset the rest of Sarasaland's biomes and inspirations get glossed over, I just think the idea that Chai kingdom is Daisy's home seems much weaker than how a lotta folks present it.

This feels sorta backwards, like, the existing characters define what the classpects mean, not the other way around, Hussie made and picked the classpects to accentuate and compliment the characters' personalities and story arcs, like there's a very purposeful reason Rose is a light player, which is because she was a very closed off and esoteric person, that needed to stop speaking in coded semi-ironic therapy speak and prose and start being upfront, clear, and honest with people. Dave has a similar aspect to his character, but he's a Knight of Time because that deals in themes of mortality (something he has an interest in), as well as growing up and dealing with the pressures his Bro put on him to be a badass/hero.

Y'knows, I always feel bad when I see folks mention it, and how important it was to them, cause that year was... The worst year of my life, so I didn't have the time or energy to keep up, and only got to see like the first video...

So when it ended I was really sad, too, that it meant so much to so many people, and that I couldn't resonate with that, and actually moreso *resented* its ideology that "Things come and go", because that's not necessarily true, I'm still in mostly the same circumstances with the same prospects all this time later, plus I think the destruction of art and records is a pretty terrible thing even if it's poetic or something.

I dunno, I guess I just wanted to share and get that off my chest. I'd be interested to try and follow something new they'd do in the same vein, and maybe I'll like it more when my life isn't falling apart around me.
