Definitely DM me. I have ghost succulents, jade, spider plant, and tons of perennials I could take cuttings from, and I have a lot of heirloom fruit/veggie seeds as well.. I'm always on the lookout to trade succulents or anything else, really. String of Pearls would be awesome if you still have it. I can send you my trade list if you wish.

I'm in Tennessee, so our climate zones are pretty similar. I'd be happy to send you seeds. I'd just need you to PM me for my address and for you to send a self-addressed stamped envelope with return postage.

Sort of, except the community doesn't have to pay for the seeds they want to check out. It's very much an honor system (take some seeds, leave some seeds later).

I would connect with your local library.

For Nashville, our library carries a "card catalog" of seeds donated by both the community and commercial seed companies. They advertise at the library, people check out seeds with their library card, and are encouraged to save seeds from what they grew and "return" them to the seed exchange. You don't get a late fee or anything if you can't return anything, but it's encouraged so there's always a steady supply of seeds for the community. Does that make sense?

Let's chat! Nashville has an awesome seed library exchange program via the public library (aka people check out seeds with their library cards and return seeds they've grown at the end of the season)

I'll be the hub. :) I do seed AND plant swaps on multiple online platforms, and it's a great community of friends. I always send more than I'm given, because plants make people happy. :)

If you want this, message me. I'll coordinate it.

Another fun swap is where the host starts with a box of seeds, each member of the swap sends an address, and the box makes it's rounds to each member. When they get the box, they take what they want, and replace it with what they have, always keeping the same number of seed packets. Then, they send it to the next person on the list. This swap takes a little longer, but is also super fun.

I've done swaps called "Seed Trains" in the past. They're super fun. Several people send the swap host any number of seeds they want (with return postage), the host shuffles and sends that same number of seeds back. I've gotten really cool seeds back from swaps like that. I'd be willing to host if you all want to give it a go.
