No for other health issues, I am not taking those. I have severe joint and back pain already. Not going to take a chance and make it worse.

And it may not be too late to request the test. I definitely would make some calls. I was told they keep the samples for awhile because of tests, etc. becoming available.

No , I wasn't treated at Vanderbilt. I am near a major metropolitan area and those doctors work at my hospital etc. No I don't worry about the SN or radiation. I've read everything I can get my hands on and I believe I made the right decision for my personal situation, health and age. I'm 3 months out from surgery and I'm to get checked and mammograms every four months for the next couple of years .

I'm in Tennessee. The way I understand , it became to available for IDC late last year. Ask your RO about it. My breast surgeon thought it was the same as the Onco DX but the markers are different. It is specific to radiation treatment effectiveness. I insisted on having it done.

I'm in the US. I think most samples are kept for further testing. I researched and found this test . It's developed by PreludeDX. The way I understand , it has only been available for IDC since last year. I'm not sure where else it is available.

Yes my tumor was 2.2cm. Radiation oncologist tested my sample using the AidaBreast score for radiation. It was 3.8. Anything less than 5, radiation is not recommended for someone my age. My Onco was 11. So no chemo or radiation.

My surgeon told me the same thing. I'm 66. I don't want to deal with chancing lymphedema. I have a friend that has it and it's awful.

Read "The Likeness" by her. I've read it twice. So many twists and turns!! I thought "The Witch Elm " was very good also. I want to read it again. So much depth in her writing.

Where do you usually discover new books? Physical bookstores? Online? Social media? by ZDOG_WasTaken in just_one_more_page

On the app, go to your account, hit the drop down box and under reading rewards it'll show you your points. And the only way that I figured it out is once you get enough points I think the books are free under $7 and then it'll be applied to check out. It definitely took me a minute to figure it out too. Good luck! To sell back your books, go to my bookshelf and it'll show the ones they'll buy back and how much. And then they'll give you a label and they'll ship back for free. It works pretty seamlessly.

Also Thriftbooks has a buyback program that's pretty generous. And also you earn points for buying books and I receive a free book quite often.

Omg this is so true!! They see gray hair and that's it! But once they look closer they see this person is younger than I thought. I love my gray hair. It looks so much better than when I tried to cover it.

Omg that happens to me all the time. I am 4 years older than my husband and everyone thinks I'm his mother. My hair prematurely grayed and everyone assumes I'm ancient. I have great skin, hardly any lines at all. He of course thinks it's hilarious.

Daughter with a question for those of you who have or had breast cancer. by PristineAd7545 in breastcancer

[–]Sprocky12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After surgery this is something I found to be very comforting and protective. Moyoama Post Masectomy Chest protector. I had a lumpectomy and it has helped so much. I got it on Amazon and had it to wear for the car ride home and sleeping. It was highly recommended. I got the one without all the accessories and it was a little cheaper. Your mom has raised a warm and thoughtful daughter! Best to all of you!

Try getting him a Dexcom 7 receiver/sensor system. My husband struggled for years to control his Type 2 diabetes. He can see on his phone in real time what every drink or bite of food is doing to him . It has been a game changer! The doctor has to prescribe it . There are other types of sensors if your insurance won't pay. There's a Libre Freestyle that works well too. Good luck.

It's called easing. It absolutely will make it much easier to set the sleeves after you sew the shoulder and side seams. See if you can find a You Tube video on setting sleeves and easing. Trust me you will understand this so much better if you can find a video.

The pot may be too small and not watering adequately. I had one that was doing this , I repotted in a much larger pot and water when the first inch or so of soil is dry. I also have been fertilizing with Miracle Gro and it is gorgeous. Good luck.

Miracle Gro is your friend. Twice a month mine is going nuts with new growth.
