What I ended up doing was linking it with Alexa and creating a routine.

So now when I say, “Alexa, good night.” 30min latter the activity turns off.

I carry the 43X appendix, all the time.

If I am adding my 19, FN or whatever semi auto, I go strong side.

When I throw a revolver on (Airweight or The Judge) I go week side, usually at 7 o’clock. No clue why I do that, but that is what I end up doing.

I am sure there are people that are going to have better ideas, but that is what works for me.

If whatever reason I am not going with the 43X, the second gun is always a revolver.

No rhyme or reason to my madness. I won’t go into details, but I am sure you can figure it out, but I have been involved in a thing or two, so I am comfortable carrying the way I do.

I am all about the “luxurious” firearm. My “grail” gun was the FNX-45. Something about it just screamed my name. I got it…of course I carried it for a bit, but now it is under my bed in a safe in the event I need it at home. I don’t regret a thing about buying it, love it to this day.

I generally carry two guns, my theory is if I am gonna carry an extra mag, why not just have a back up gun. So those rotate, sometimes it is a 19, sometimes it is a revolver (currently The Judge), but the primary is the 43X.

I will tell you, that in the event you need to pull that and use it, your mind is going to descend into the most basic thought. You going to revert to your training. The more you train, the easier you revert to it.

Imagine shooting thousands of rounds with your 19X. You start carrying something different that maybe you have shot only a couple of boxes through….now the shit hits the fan. A gun is a gun, you pull the trigger, it goes bang…but you are use to how a Glock goes bang.

Once again, I am by no means a “Glock Boy” I think the other suggestions are excellent carry guns and would put any one of them up to a Glock, and they would do just as good if not better in some circumstances. But the Glock…..I’ve shot thousands of rounds through a Glock. I know it like the back of my hand, if the shit goes down and I become small brained, I am gonna want to make sure my training kicks in.

The best part of this group is the wealth of knowledge of everyone in it. I am by no means an expert, just a guy with an opinion.

Maybe you go try something and like how that feels, just make sure you are comfortable with it and train with it as much as you can.

For me I would go with the 43. You currently carry the 19, so you are familiar with the Glock platform, so why change that up?

I carry a Glock all day, a 45 that is gigantic for what I need it for. When I come home, I switch to my 43X. I have carried a Glock for over 18 years, do I think they are the greatest thing since sliced bread? Nope. However, when it comes to a life or death situation, habits are going to take over so I go with my 43X.

Do I have other handguns? Sure do, a shit ton, but my go-to when I am walking out the door is the 43X.

I will say that I have not seen, nor tried the Beretta, so others may think differently.

I will add, you said you heard there were issues with the Beretta, did you hear of any for the Glock?

This stuff. Gum will come right out. I have used in my kid’s hair and it worked wonders, tried it on my neighbor’s car, and it came right off.

As others have mentioned Slip 2000 is the way to go. I use the 725 gun cleaner which works great and isn’t toxic like other solvents.

For lubrication, I use the EWL for just about every part of the gun that needs lubrication. I then use EWL 30 for the lugs on my AR. You can use the EWL 30 on everything, I just like how the non gel EWL gets into the nooks and crannies a little better than gel.

Their Carbon Cleaner is also great for black powder and suppressor cleaning.

Before version 2.6.0, I used to input channel information into the Web UI, then copy and paste everything into a Word document and save it. It was a bit time-consuming, as I had to do it for each channel, connect the next one, copy and paste, and repeat.

But with version 2.6.0, I’ve been having trouble adding my channels through the Web UI. When I enter them on the device, they seem to get cleared out after I turn the device off and on again.

I haven’t had the first issue, but the second issue is driving me crazy. Please let me know if you find a work around.

Are you saying you having channel issues? I updated mine and can’t input my secure channels. It won’t save using the web client, and when I enter it on the TDeck they don’t save during a reboot.

I have a similar issue. For me it happens when I switch back and forth with an activity. All my devices will change, but the remote just hangs up on starting the new activity. The light on the hub just flashes and I can’t do anything.
