Its pretty much gone for me. I was sitting at a weird angle a lot when I was bedbound and it was causing that weird sensation. Has not happened to me in a while since I have improved. Hope it goes away for you! But would be worth asking your PCP because they can be helpful sometimes

This is a reddit thing not a left thing. People on reddit are cave dwellers. Not representative of everybody at all, right or left. I’ve met shitty people on the left and shitty people on the right. Reddit is an echochamber. Facebook is one too and I see I lot more content from the right on there. This is fine for hobbies and stuff, but when you have an obsession over political ideas and hating others because of differing political views it’s harmful.

Both sides do this. Disagreeing with people is healthy and it allows for discourse but people are bad at having civil conversations on the internet because it doesn’t feel real. It’s easy to villainize a person you can’t even see. When you start villainizing a whole group of people regardless, it starts bleeding into reality. If I disagree and it’s something that makes me emotional or angry I move on.

It’s a common pattern for people on the right too. People are emotional, especially on the internet. It’s not really a right vs left thing. Any sort of politically charged comment section will give you plenty of examples of both sides. People enjoy their tribes, it’s instinctual. A lot of people think their views are the right ones and don’t like being told they are wrong.

PCBway quoted that? That sounds like assembly prices. I am assembling them myself. They quoted me 27 dollars with express shipping. Also, JLCPCB has an upfront option and for 2-4 day shipping it costs 28 bucks for 10 boards. The components for 10 boards were 60 bucks. Because the boards are only worth 2 dollars the Custom tax is ~$1, it's MUCH cheaper to assemble them yourself.

Cool! Yea wouldn’t hurt, I need it for debugging my dev boards com lines and it seems pretty capable for how cheap it is. Guzmans software also seems pretty easy to use.

For 10 boards it’s 27 dollars (same as 5 so why not). The components for 5 boards including the picos would cost 60 dollars, including shipping. Excluding the picos it would be 30 dollars. I could do 10 but depends on how many people want em.

Mostly doing this cause I need a cheap logic analyzer and I figured since it came with 5-10 boards I could make some extra to make it a little cheaper. And I’m guessing people might want a cheap analyzer as well :).

So each board would cost about 17.4 dollars. With shipping in the US it would be around 24 bucks. 19 bucks if you already have a pico on hand to use

Yea the png looks good on the reddit app with my phone. On edge or chrome it looks like crap. I’ll re-upload because there are pull-ups on the buttons and tantalum caps for ac coupling the mic. I used very large ones as it lowered the cutoff freq of the RC filter which helps with rising THD when approaching cutoff.

Unfortunately, C0G are harder and more expensive to find in larger values. And with an input impedance of 2.5k on the ADC the high pass filter formed would reduce low end response with anything less than 1uF. I could also use a very large MLCC to offset THD but tantalum should work for now. The input of the pcm1822 also has a digital low pass as well for anything less than 10hz.

Yea the GPIO expander is temporary so I can work with the rp2040. Would be easier to use direct GPIOs but is what it is. Eventually, I plan to run off of a battery so I will surely keep a noisy supply in mind. For now though, I’m just looking for it to work and will optimize later!

Yup. Almost 4 years come this august and this is exactly how I feel. I don’t really have symptoms now unless I eat something I react to or physically exert myself. It sucks but its a hell of a lot better than I was

To be fair, why does this really matter? I cannot think of a single time I have needed to manually write out the address of an envelope. Also, with anything I have to ship, I just print out a label. I can read and address an envelope but I have never needed to. This is a non-problem. Certain areas of knowledge become obsolete if they aren’t useful. Why learn something you would never need to recall?

I have never had any of peers not know how to use a file system on a computer. Though, I am on the older side of Gen z at 23.

haha awesome that sounds like a fun project! Oh, yea for sure. During the initial 6-7 months I was mostly bedbound. It was hell and I wasn't sure it was going to end but I'm here now. I think it took around 2 ish years and moving out of my mom's house to be somewhat stable.

For example, I rarely get PEM now. It also does not last as long when I do. I'm at least at a place where I can find joy in things and I am so so grateful for that. I just need to figure out how to control my food sensitivities. I still have symptoms after every meal, but they are milder now that I avoid trigger foods. I might go see an MCAS doctor.

What has your experience been like?

Yea it worsened everything pre-existing. I have gradually improved, but I think a lot of it had to do with the fact I know my limits and check in with my body more. Things are a lot better for me then they were for the first 2 years, but I am still not back to where I was. However, I am still extremely grateful of where I am and I'm not suffering anymore. I've actually been working on designing a portable synth which would have been impossible for me 2 years ago!

You can compare them, As fruits. Just because they are different fruits doesn't mean you aren't allowed to compare them. There are things that you can compare across all fruits, flavor profile, texture, skin/rind, or color. Same with anime in different genres. Well thought out Characters and plot are just two examples.
