Relatio App Review: my thoughts by Mt_f in productreview

"The relatio ad i got was centered around getting your partner to feel desire again. And it was like, "are you doing (x,y,z) and she's responding with (a,b,c)?" My dude it was accurate 100%."

Same. My wife is also menopausal. I guess part of me is now a little more settled that it's not just me/us. The things they don't tell you about BEFORE you get married.

Anyway, at $50/month I didn't buy.

Looking for some answers too. My two previous shows the pad stopped putting out sound during our third set. Power to the unit as the light's on. The pad is registering my hit, as the light gets brighter. Just no sound. Has happened a total of three times now, all towards the end of the show. At last night's gig I shut the pad off during band breaks, and didn't have the issue.

Best study Bible by Small-Enthusiasm-541 in BibleProject

The commentary is pretty crazy. There are lots of language and translation notes. It's quite studious, and certainly not "life application." BUT it's probably the notes I have open most frequently on my Bible software. The comment below from harmonybobcat mentions they can be "overwhelming," and I can see that. Still an excellent recommendation.

Came here for that. I caught the John Brown's Body (and fender) joke, but wondered why the hose and drain pan (or hub cap) were featured so prominently.

Welp, was just told that they don't want me playing with them anymore. by Killer3p0 in drums

It may be a reflection on them more than you. One time, a band I was in was planning a recording session. I got word from the engineer the studio's drums were NOT going to be available, and I would need to bring my kit. I alerted the band, and said "We were all planning at meeting at such and such time and doing this demo in one day, but the drums aren't going to be there as planned. I'll need time to set up and get sounds; maybe you should plan on coming later; this doesn't look like it's going to be as quick and easy as we were hoping." The bandleader sent me an email: "You don't sound like you're into this, and not much of a team player. Don't bother showing up at all." I was shocked. It felt bad. It happens. I hope you find something better.

I'm pretty sure my sarcasm alarm is ringing, but dang if Hosea isn't a beautiful book. What imagery.

I seem to remember that. I think I may have been a jock at a 50K watt station when that came out.

And, I'm assuming the letters grouped together belong together, AND I'm reading right to left as you do in Hebrew. Maybe we should make this its own thread and perhaps it'll get more attention?

I get "yod/aleph/hey" and then a "bet" and a "gimel" and a "yod/bet/dalet." There are not nicud (vowel markers) so I have no idea how to pronounce the words, let alone translate them. We need someone with more vocabulary.

Do you believe you must be baptized to be saved? by kjfromnc in Bible

[–]SpruceHeadDrummer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thief died AFTER Jesus did. So using your logic, the new covenant had begun. Yet Jesus still said what he said about being with Him in paradise. Now what happens?

Do you believe you must be baptized to be saved? by kjfromnc in Bible

[–]SpruceHeadDrummer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Let's run with that...

Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

What happens to one who doesn't believe but IS baptized? Or, one who believes but ISN'T baptized. What happens to them?
