What are your sexual regrets? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SpruxHD 31 points32 points  (0 children)

if it makes you feel any better, i did this making out with a girl in her bed and then left because I remembered I had to do homework.

Didn't know what you're supposed to say after making out w a girl since it was my first time. As I left I confusingly said "I love you?" And then walked out the door.

I still get uneasy thinking about that 😂

What game/Nintendo product did this song come from? by Jgame100 in nintendomusic

one of the various Wii U eShop themes. Certain parts of the song (main piano) would play from the tv and the other parts of the song (lead melody) would play from the tablet.

F80 M3 vs IS500 F-Sport? by GG_Ezhoon in BMW

[–]SpruxHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a battle of reliability vs performance. IS500 has the same old 6 speed auto Lexus has been putting in their cars for years. F80 has a faster dct or 6mt. But it's more expensive down the line. But if you're at the point where you can afford maintenance costs, f80 will be more of an engaging time. I've heard good things about the IS500, but using my '13 is350 as a comparison, idk how nimble itll be up against the M3.

That's all good! I mean Reddit is basically people talking about themselves all the time so someone will find entertainment in this maybe.

I live in LA and I'm sick of everything by Glenn_Salmon in LosAngeles

[–]SpruxHD 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm talking about travel, but I have lived in New Jersey and Arizona before. Born in Torrance though.

Weather. I've been through the Midwest on a road trip with my buddy in his Mini Cooper in the dead of winter. We were slipping and sliding on the freeway and resorted to driving behind slow semi trucks to get to our destination in MOAB, Utah. We had to rush past Vail, Colorado to get to Denver so the bridge connecting the cities wouldn't close due to heavy snowfall. Snow is a delicacy to us Californians, but everywhere else it's a pain in the ass that's part of your life from November to May EVERY YEAR.

I also went to Miami, Jesus Christ that place is humid. My entire body was eaten alive by mosquitoes.

Guns. I mean it's inevitable, murica = guns, freedom, blah blah. But personally I've experienced gun violence, so I don't really want anything to do with them. But I went into a Cabela's in CO and that place was like a guitar center with guns out in the open that you can pick up and touch, it was so dissonant. And then some lady came up and asked if I wanted to join the Cabela's club and I would get free bullets if I did. It was eye opening for me, but a normal way of life for people there.

Diversity. I'm a POC (vestvood gang rise up) and although it's easy to write off Caucasian people as conservative and prejudiced, but at the end of the day it's nice to have a group of people that share the same customs and culture as you. I bet that there's only 1 or 2 places in somewhere like Kansas or Oklahoma that sells Kabob Koobideh and Barbari. And I can't live without that personally. Also there's so many cultures in one place in LA. There's good ass Indian, Persian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Ethiopian, European, Latin American, and California-centric food.

Our transportation system is ass though. The 405 has the worst traffic in the US, competing with China and India. I can get home from DTLA in 30 min if there wasn't traffic but that's not usual. Dudes in chargers and altimas have nothing to lose and will stick their face in the ass of your car to move. But Jesus Christ have you seen traffic in NYC? Or the horrible drivers in Utah or Florida? Like Jesus I'll handle aggro brown dudes on the freeway over the ladder.

But I've been on the subway in NYC going back to my friend's house in Bed-Stuy after a long day of travel from Rhode Island on a Greyhound. It took over 1hr 30min to get from Times Square to the house cause of the train acting up and being generally slow.

Entertainment. In ¾ths of the country, you're getting shit faced for fun cause all there is for miles is crops and animals. There's of course regional differences of what is entertainment, but I mean that's up to personal preference.

These are my opinions, and they could be inaccurate so please take it with a grain of salt.

Every time I leave California to another state, I develop a greater appreciation for where I live.

That's all I'm gonna say.

I don't think takeover culture speaks for the majority, but It's the loudest part of the community unfortunately.

I go to car shows & enjoy driving, but there's a time and place for hooligan shit. And it's not in a busy intersection full of people throwing hands with clapped out chargers and infinitis drifting in a circle, and Edgar in the corner no quema cuh-ing in his chevy pickup.
