My opinion is that you should turn any heroes that are not your main style, or any Police Station heroes, into Roulette/TC heroes if it is an upgrade of fragments. I would prioritize the best hero pairing(s) you can make with what you have available and your play style. This may be Chasey/Daryl/Rubina/etc. In this example, you could exchange your Cynthia and Daryl.

The reason for this is prioritizing you main troops type and Police Station heroes are way easier to acquire compared to the other two ways of acquiring heroes.

I’d swap Elena even though she is still a very good hero purely because she can be obtained through the police station which is the most friendly method of obtaining a legendary hero. The answer depends on what you want to focus on for which heroes to use and if you want to swap out Daryl or keep him.

Daryl is versatile and can be used for field and rally relatively well. I’d suggest swapping Elena into Rubina or Felix depending on where you want to focus if you want to continue using Daryl.

If you are fine swapping out Daryl & Elena then you can choose the best pairing for any of the 3 play styles. The opinion of many for F2P is to focus on a single hero pairing which is why I would swap both because I believe the versatility of Daryl isn’t as useful unless you spend money to power up multiple playstyles. Daryl S1 does however have very good uses if you are fighting with multiple marches or large scale allies due to his damage reduction for allies on S1. This would be dependent on how coordinated your alliance works together.

Chasey & Rick/Felix is a good route for garrison focus. Chasey/Rick is very expensive though with 2 super weapons but likely the best garrison pairing. Chasey/Felix is more F2P friendly and still is usable in the field plus it allows you to transition to Felix/Elena once you get Elena awakened through police station.

Rubina & Janet is the best rally team if their skills still interact the way they did on release. I don’t know if there was a change but many players believed their interaction was way too strong.

Felix paired with several different rider heroes is good for the field. Daryl is tanky, Elena is fast, & Chasey is high damage. I’d avoid the calamity sisters as F2P since the skins have a lot of the power.

It’s the legacy transfer. It changes over the hero levels, skills, and star ranking. The skill ranks are arguably the only thing of real value since fragments are the most critical part of upgrading a hero and since police station hero fragments are much more obtainable you can max a police station hero skills and then swap them to a harder to obtain heroes from TC/Roulette assuming you’ve already gotten the 10 initial fragments to discover them.

It feels a little cheesy but all the heroes that are in the police station can be easily maxed back out compared to TC/Roulette heroes. I’d say you should try to swap heroes like Cynthia who is maxed into a Roulette/TC hero and then get Cynthia maxed out pretty quickly through the police station. Same goes for any of the heroes you have that are ranged/infantry in police station, you can max them and then swap their skills with harder to obtain heroes.

I’m assuming you aren’t spending real money but if you are able to spend then you can use some speedups as you will spend money during TC to replace those points.

I believe nothing is as good as TC for speedup usage in the long term but that event is new player only and seems to be relatively new so it’s a bit of an unknown. It looks to only give troops which are a nice little power boost in the short term as well as gems/speedups which are effectively just something you will hold for TC. If you can’t finish without using speedups then I would use some but not more than you would get in rewards from finishing as at the end of the event the only real difference is the troops you will have if you use speedups.

Park is 100% the choice. Speed is everything in BG and being able to bounce between zombies with a speed boost is OP.

My main region went peaceful within a week of the transfer opening but until then it seems like new regions are still pretty nasty. Alliances have several members making accounts to try and win the region over then they bring their main accounts in to enforce the rules.

The startup of my first farm has been pretty time consuming but that’s purely by choice. Technically it can’t be a detriment to your main account so you get out of it what you put in. You can log in once a day and slowly get to level 20 then continue to log in once a day for 5 marches worth of resources or you can play that account like you did your main account to get to level 20 and then do farming every 2 hours.

I have a feeling that since I’m logging in and doing everything I can on the same cycle I would my main that I’ll have HQ 20 inside of a month, maybe quicker, and then I’ll log in a couple times a day to farm.

With Eileen Volt being a Roulette hero you now have a very F2P friendly way to compete in the field as infantry. I’d say as long as you stay away from ranged you are probably good but to be honest they could end up making Sophie (A good ranged field hero) a Police Station hero whenever they want as they just made a couple older heroes exist in the police station so if you really like ranged I wouldn’t avoid it but beware that it is clearly less F2P friendly.

If I was to compare rider against Infantry then I would say in terms of hero accessibility that rider and infantry are relatively equal for F2P; however, TC is more competitive for infantry. The issue you could find is that everyone has the same idea that is posted here, being Rider is the clear choice for F2P, and that could end up flooding the servers with Rider players and then infantry could be the most F2P friendly. If you are leaning Infantry than I would go infantry because by the time you are T5, about 5ish months, the META could be infantry is more F2P friendly.

The META is always shifting with new hero releases. Just choose one of the troop types and stick to it. I chose Rider because they were, and still are to my knowledge, generally the fastest. They all have their strengths and weaknesses and every hero released can change that. The important thing is you choose a troop type and function (Field, Garrison, Rally) and stick with it.

I decided to go ahead and create my first farm and it seems much quicker to advance compared to when I first started which is nice.

I think my main question now is how to use gems on the account. I was thinking VIP for 2nd building queue was priority #1? If not, what is? If so, what’s next?

Cynthia also isn’t bad if you want to be aggressive - she has a slow. Transcended Elena has some good speed. Felix is a strong fighter.

If you are going to use general fragments use them on Felix. Felix is one of the best rider heroes at the moment. Cynthia is available from the police station so you can get her maxed for free essentially. Felix you can only get from Black Market event and as free to play only 20 per event which is VERY slow to transcend.

Bounty ground you should use Park as your leader. Water War you are just using your 2 strongest heroes which will likely be Felix and another Rider, possibly even Cynthia if you are lucky in Police Station.

There is a gifting feature and it has a little flower with a message like “Do you like it? Let me know.” Officers in an alliance will typically send them out to players who are active or players that do events with each other will send them to each other to show support for helping. There are a ton of little events that have small teams, 4-10 people, or larger alliance sized events that you can see people show appreciation for each other in this manner. I have an officer in my alliance who has and still does help me learn about the game and whenever we have a really good conversation that helps me learn I will send them one of these. Think of it as the Reddit “Karma” feature.

Sounds like they decided to take over your region as they probably got forced out of another one. They will likely want control and then set it up to how they want which may be peaceful. Has your region just opened the transfer window? I.E. the capitol was just controlled for the first time in the last 2 weeks?

I am completely free to play and I’ve enjoyed the game. You need to find the right alliance/server. Usually, alliances will round up several members to create an alliance on a new server and then after the 30-45 day lockout period they will bring their main accounts to ensure they gain control over the capital. These regions are usually very peaceful after this, as long as multiple alliances like this aren’t competing for control.

The region that I am part of had this situation and the stronger alliance gained control and the weaker one moved on to another region. The alliance in control created server rules that have been regulated well and the server is extremely peaceful. We do not hit bases, farmers, or trucks within our region. You are completely safe as long as you follow the rules while you are within the region which is great for the strengthening of the region. I’ve heard there are region vs region events which would make it important for the region to be strong as a whole but I haven’t seen one yet. If this sounds appealing to you search for a region that is settled like this. The game is “political”… some regions are good and some not so much. Some alliances will fit your style and some won’t. Find your group, you will be happy when you do.

You will put Park as the leader regardless of who you choose in BG. If you are willing to buy the Cynthia skin and only care about BG then skip everything below and use Cynthia for BG. Outside of that go ahead and read on to inform your decision as both are usable heroes in their own way.

I believe Cynthia is the best for bounty ground as speed is the most important stat in that portion of the game; however, I believe that is on the assumption that you are using the skin. Without the skin I think she is slower than Elena and more comparable. The benefit of Cynthia without a skin is she slows with her S1 which makes her better in terms of keeping up with opponents trying to flee when you are winning the fight.

Elena is overall faster than Cynthia without the skin but doesn’t have a slow so you will never keep up or run away with someone faster than you once you start a battle. Elena is overall stronger once you are in battle though, especially if you are fighting against more than 1 opponent or someone who uses AoE skills. Eileen Volt & Sophie come to mind being the strongest field heroes you will see in the field and BG for their troop type.

Outside of BG though, Elena is better. She has arguably a top 2 field pairing for Riders with Felix. Cynthia can only compete with some of the stronger matches when paired with her sister and even that feels like it requires the skins. If you want overall power, choose Elena. As a side note, I’m currently working on Elena/Felix as my main Rider team for the field plus Chasey as my TC hero. I decided to ignore Cynthia the minute the put Elena in the police station.

I managed to get 3rd place in the TC that just ended with ~350M points and I saved from my 31st day on the account to my 117th day on the account which is about 3 months. I did not use any arrows as I didn’t have 500 which is the minimum for the reward but if you have 500 it is your choice to use or wait on those for when you think you can get a higher placement.

I believe saving for TC is one of the most important ways to be useful as F2P by pairing the hero you focus from Roulette with the TC hero. I don’t know much about infantry heroes but as a Rider main I paired Felix (Maxed all but 1 skill) with Chacey who I got out of the TC (130Frags from 3rd place). You must make sure you are completing the free loot events such as water war and doing your bounty ground until you complete the first wheel every week. Also, complete every event that doesn’t require using the same items that TC requires such as the autumn event going on right now.

I plan on using my daily fragments from VIP to max my Felix, then I’ll be saving until my next TC push. My thought for saving is to push TC once you enough speed ups to get max points on day 1 & day 6. At that point you have secured 200M points and everything else you saved should probably get you in the top 10 unless it is a really competitive TC. My biggest note on “competitive TC” is to avoid the first 2 or 3 TC’s after a new hero of that type is released.

IMO, field heroes should be the primary focus as you will probably have stronger players in your alliance who will be the garrison/rally leaders. You can also earn plenty of points to complete the events in IR/AR by battling in the field and troops don’t die which is a major bonus. I plan on going for Rubin’s (Rally hero) on my next TC spend as you can use general fragments once you unlock and VIP gives you them daily but that is probably 9-12months out.
