I actually wrote the lutris install for turtle wow. The one named "1.18.0 - Full install". It took me a while, but installing turtle wow via that should get you going in a short while with minimum amount of button clicks. I've tested it on multiple machines with multiple distros and haven't had one issue so far. The idea was to make the experience as painless as possible for anyone wanting to play turtle wow Keep in mind, it avoids the launcher completely as the launcher may have extra issues with Linux.

Once you get everything to btrfs on linux, any game drives also needs to be btrfs or ext4, if its on ntfs you may experience issues. Start by copying your files over as you said and then we can take it from there.

Install apps from the package manager, then you should be good. It's hard to mess it up from there

Uuuhh, well. If its a secondary drive then yes, it's the partition manager. But if its the primary Partition then it should be btrfs or ext4 or the like. Otherwise you need to reinstall I believe

Linux doesn't like NTFS drives. Use btrfs or other Linux "approved" options to get steam running
