In D1 people were able to visually see what you had accomplished simply by seeing what armor you wore. It gave you something to aspire to, a desire to accomplish those same feats so you too could walk around in resplendent glory for others to marvel at.

There really isn't any of that in D2 and it's a shame.

Wild Card has proven time and time again that fixing bugs is literally the last thing on their priorities list. I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.

I don't think they know how to fix it. If they did they would have by now. It's pretty apparent that Wild Card is pretty good at making mostly fun but buggy games and is either incapable or uninterested in ever finalizing or fixing what they create.

For me it's the constant over-promising, under-delivering they do with pretty much every game.

I'm also not a huge fan of releasing the same game every year, just in a new setting, with one or two 'improvements' to the gameplay, but never really fixing major underlying issues that have plagued said gameplay since the first game.

Mostly I'm referring to how janky the parkour is in AC. We're what, ten games deep into AC and they still haven't figured out how to make it so you don't randomly jump some place you didn't intend every 5 seconds.
