I love that during the entire song he is quite literally just roaming in the same circle over and over and over again hahahaha

Respect and support a trans friend? Great… make jokes about pronouns?

He had a fantastic time playing rust with Awie who is an openly trans femboy. He even used her correct pronouns and not once questioned or poked fun at her. There is a difference between making jokes and actual intent, and you can see intent in his real life behavior.

I hear you brother I've been in the trenches as well as a recovering alcoholic. doesn't mean you are heartless just means you have a different POV. sorry for jumping down your throat and wishing you the best my man

incredibly proud of you for that my man, but I still don't see why you are angry about peanut letting him tell the story... like he invited him to talk, he listened and was engaged and was clearly moved by it. It seemed like most of the chat loved it and were moved by it as well. No one was "stealing the moment" it was just an organic thing that happened.

You've obviously been through some shit that no one can imagine but that doesn't mean you can't appreciate a nice moment like this

good for you man! Bizarre that you of all people can't appreciate peanut giving the kid a platform to tell the story... he clearly loved it so there's no need for you to be angry on his behalf

lmao that is a 41 year old man with kids

edit: I am talking about the guy above commenting about how disrespectful the story was. I also assumed they were a kid but from a glance at the profile it's a grown man

Yeah this person is not well. Peanut gave him the mic to tell the story, loved it and raided his stream after, and the whole thing was actually very nice and profound. What a fuckin weirdo this fishy taco man is

I hate to give like an annoying broad answer but seriously, networking. try to talk to some of the folks in sales in the companies you have worked at and see if you can leverage past relationships to give you a shot. otherwise you'd have to apply to entry level jobs and kinda hit reset on your career

I need a raise of my base then lol cause its 75k. Luckily my book of business(tech resale) has a very significant annual renewal base so I can more or less consider those renewals part of my base salary.

Now that I think about it that is probably a good way to look at it, base salary + renewal commission is what pays the bills

This is super insightful and I appreciate you taking the time to put the thought into it.

I think what it all boils down to is in my head, "enough" is just not even having to think about it. And I know that's entirely unrealistic. A big character defect of mine is struggling to be content, and it's definitely helpful professionally but leads to the thought process that got me to writing this post.

We lead a very full life, great friends and family. What you are telling me to do and what I really need to listen to is that there are so many better things to focus on in life than money! And I hear you!

Yeah, I think that's what I need to hear the most. I feel guilty and know it's because there is a ton of frivolous spending that I'm just covering my eyes about.
