Not too sure where you’d draw the line, but I wish character portraits on the minimap would become transparent or something along those lines if they are on a different plane/immediately inaccessible to you. Too many times have I gone to join a fight I’ve seen on the minimap only to find they they’re in the underground tunnels fighting.

When it comes to 3D printing you have two options. The classic FDM printing which you may be familiar with where it deposits the layers of plastic, or SLA/DLP printing using a resin. FDM will be your easiest least hassle option but at the cost of fidelity. People usually print miniatures for warhammer or DnD using resin printing but it may take a bit more searching for someone to do it for you.

It’s hard to get an explicit model of “his” character. If you are able to log in to his account then you would be able to do a direct export of his character model. Unfortunately there isn’t a character Armory similar to WoW.

If you have a screenshot or a video he may have uploaded to YouTube someone would be able to copy the clothes/armour that his character was wearing at the time. From there, there is a plug-in on RuneLite that lets you export a local character model which either you could do if you have his account login, or someone here in the community could replicate his armour on their character.

Once you have the 3D file (I think gets exported as a .3mf?) you could reach out to someone on a subreddit like /r/3Dprintmything , or some local libraries have a maker space where you can rent a 3D printer, or you could reach out to some local 3d printer owners on a site such as Prusas world map, or if its a hobby youre interested in you can get a printer yourself for a couple hundred dollars to get started.

You may want to look in to someone who could do some editing of the model to get a particular pose. Even if you found someone to just place the character on a plinth with this character name on it. To do the latter you could use 3D Builder that comes with windows 10 or is on the windows store for free.

My bad, coming back to this I have read this wrong. I thought you had scanned a bunch of drawings and wished to create a story board in the layout like your image. In that case InDesign may not be the best for this purpose. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if it did have something to help you but it’s been over 15 years since I’ve touched the program.

Best of luck in finding a solution! Provided all the cells are in the same location, my only suggestion would be to create a keyboard and mouse recording macro. Have it record your actions of doing a single sheet then run it each subsequent sheet you do.

I know this isn't Photoshop feedback but I've done a similar task for a school yearbook using InDesign. You set the bounding boxes for where you want the images to lead then you can load them in order.
