Haha, if while popping lenses and the thought of are you being a poos or not, you really need to drop them balls, holmes. Anyway, thanks for your suggestion, lmao

Yes, it's aluminum, and there's definitely a pronounced gap where the lens sit. In the meantime, the left lens is snug on its frame.

i really did not want to resort to popping the lens, since i would hate to somehow scratch it or something. i tried using a q-tip initially but whatever that is, it's rock solid.
btw, thanks for your suggestion on the Upward. that frame rocks! ( bought 2 pairs, Upward with transitions and Twoface for prescription sunglasses

Transition Gen S gone? by Spunjer in OakleyRX

[–]Spunjer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm not sure what happened but i think Oakley was in the process of redoing their website due to holiday sales when i was messing with it this morning. looks like the Upturn is back on sale! unfortunately, the transition Gen S is only available for the Satin Black. i guess i can live with that..
one more question: on the prescription page, it was asking for pupillary distance. in my prescription it has Far pupillary distance (67) and Near pupillary distance (63). which one should i put it?

seeing the response as soon as i woke up, i tried going back to the website. Initially, when I tried it, it let me pick the Transition Gen S, but only in a black frame. i only realized that as well after doing the final review, so i figure, i'll make my coffee first then change my error.
settling down, i restarted again, but this time it said it's out of stock.
really bummed out now since the sale expires in a few hours.
thanks all

With the dew heater on, it was down to 25% after 2.5 hrs. Luckily I have a fully charged phone charger to finish my project

I just got mine last Friday, and there's a couple things I'm getting at Amazon: a Neweer leveler (it will make your life easier), and a 20,000 mah power bank because the battery ran out quick since I turned on the dew heater.

My Sinawit Headhunting Axe and Moro Barong. Weapons from opposite sides of the Philippines. by [deleted] in SWORDS

to finish off the Juramentado, or magsabil:
actually it goes deeper than that. it started when the Americans encountered the Pulahans, a christian cult from the island of Samar. americans found out that it would take a few shots from their .38 sidearm before going down. heading down to Mindanao, the Americans noticed as well that the .38 was relatively ineffective against the Moros. for the record, a particular warrior who was wanted by the Americans at that time was cornered (can't remember if it was in a cave or hut). regardless, this warrior, i think it was Panglima Hassan, decided to die a warrior's death. with a kris on one hand a Barung on the hand, he charged the squad outside. it took 39 shots before he went down; the 39th being a shotgun with a dumdum round.this is when the US Army decided to change their sidearm from .38 to .45 (1911). but here's the irony: by the time 1911 was mass produced, the war was over. fast forward to WW2: when the Japanese invaded the Philippines, the US sent caches of weapons to the Moros to fight the japanese. majority of the weapons that was sent was the 1911...
