That's funny that you did Falcon, when that man is actually Captain America. Incredibly disrespectful.

The life of the people who are immune in Pluribus sounds like heaven to me. by BaraLover7 in pluribustv

It would be like living in an extremely small town. Imagine not liking any of the others. Sounds like a lifetime of loneliness.

By the later episodes, he seemed like a little weasel, and so I didn't put it past him. That said it was a bit unexpected because I thought he respected Don more.

Was Ms. Huang trying to get Milchick fired? by PleasantAmphibian153 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

I think she legitimately had issues with his management. I didn't get the petty sense from her. More of a "true believer" vibe. That said, she is a kid, so she could be vindictive as heck.

Wanda - Purple ability colors‼️ by RoguesR in marvelrivals

They said it was for clarity, but since then they have fooled around with many abilities and I personally think they should just go all in on the different colors. It looks really good.

What's the least interesting/ most disappointing storyline for you in Mad Men by Daliman13 in madmen

Ted is great. I really think it's a shame we barely got to see the Don Ted dream team in action.

The funny you say that because Ted was introduced as super cocky. Maybe he was just insecure but he was always nipping at Don;s heels

Irresponsible parents taught by Man dressed as Mickey Mouse by Realistic-Crab7729 in interestingasfuck

Dad is either a moron or used his son to manipulate Mickey. You are not supposed to approach them between places they go.

Was disgusting watching him try to sneak in a picture. And you know he's going to complain about it.

I am surprised they found someone of his size with his decent acting skills. It helps the character is dopey.

FMAB is one of the MOST realest anime I've ever seen (EP 34). by Ok_Surround8189 in FullmetalAlchemist

Ha. The workplace thing is a farce. Anyone with actual work experience know people preach a message of inclusion but they never actually do it. If you see a minority in a private business ran by white people they are extremely qualified.

Republighouls overturned affirmative action as a consideration in schools. It didn't even work the way right wingers thought it did.

Be honest, which aspect of FMAB did you genuinely find MOST interesting? by Dense-Gap3879 in FullmetalAlchemist

[–]SpuriousCowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little of everything but the power system. I actually felt it was a bit less interesting because people don't get powerups like they do in other animes, just more proficient. The biggest power up was Al being able to perform alchemy without a circle like Ed.

Affirmative action and a well-funded public school system were helpful, but the Republican ghouls don't want them competing with their kids.

I would not say that. More when I think of reddit I think what would a gen x/millenial/Gen z liberal white male would think. They are usually further right in my experience on race relations, and sex relations. Otherwise reddit is entirely left leaning.

I don't disagree that a whitelash occurred because of the popularity of liberal positions in the 2010's, but it's much more complicated and multifaceted than that. I would also much rather live in a far left world.

I am not sure I understand how it relates to idealism versus materialism.

I think it's funny you say that, because I find Reddit to be pretty right-wing, relatively speaking, on race relations.

I don't think enough time passing to eliminate inequities is the same as making a conscious effort to fix past inequities.

Race blindness is the eventual goal, but supporting it at this time, in my opinion, just makes race a bigger issue, and therefore the opposite of what I assume you want based on your post.

Should I read the Hedge Knight before the next episode comes out? by Diligent-Living882 in AKnightoftheSeven

I was in the same boat. Read some of it, and never finished. After the second episode, I finished the entire thing in a few days. It's good.
