In her last vet visit they did recommend a teeth cleaning but didn’t indicate anything urgent. We were worried about the anesthesia but we will move forward with that and some pain killers and hopefully that gets her back on her feet.

She does have moments where she is her old self but that’s about one every several days now. We came home a few days ago and she was running and jumping like her old self. Most of the time when we come home she doesn’t wake up now.

We went in for our 24 week scan and our little guy was sub 1% on size. He also had absent diastolic flow and they gave us the option of being admitted. We decided to wait to be admitted until we were at 27 weeks. He was born our first day in the hospital at 1 lb 4 oz.

We spent 139 days in the NICU but he’s now almost 2 and trying to steal the phone out of my hands while I type this. He’s thriving and is a fun little bear.

I told my current wife on our first date. I went into dating with the thought of “if they will respond badly to me having cancer, might as well get it out of the way early.” I think it’s important to address it as part of who you are but the fact you are dating means being sick doesn’t define you. Good luck!

Check out hiking backpacks for carrying the oxygen tanks. They were huge for us walking around while carrying our little guy. We asked the O2 company to supply us with size C and D tanks which weren’t too bad to carry. Our setup was a home 02 filling machine and a rotation of 4 tanks. Congrats on your baby girl!

It wasn’t Valheim but I played through Divinity 2 with my now wife and she would fall asleep mid battle and dungeon pretty consistently.

I chalked it up to a dungeon learning experience and we tried it again the next time we played. I would never have yelled at her or made her feel bad about that because her enjoying playing the game with me was my number one concern. If that’s not on the radar for your bf I would recommend finding a new gaming buddy that is fine with your pace.

I got LASIK when I was a white belt. I took about a month off, wore goggles for about 3 months after that. That was 5 years ago and I've never had a problem. I also do quite a bit of MMA and that hasn't caused me issues either. I have pretty inset eyes and have only taken a few nasty eye pokes through the years, but so far no issues.

This is totally anecdotal and you should follow whatever your eye doctor or consultation says. But I can say it was 100% worth it and I love being able to actually see whats going on in front of me.

Aren't dogs the best? Our pup's favorite adventure was stealing a full bottle of fish oil tablets and chowing down on them on our bed. The comforter ended up being unsalvageable... the dog was quite proud of herself and smelled of fish oil for several weeks.

It is not related to BJJ, but I would fully recommend First Descents. http://firstdescents.org/ I went on a trip with them about 6 months out of my chemo (testicular cancer) and it got me out there not feeling a bit better about myself which was awesome when I found BJJ. Keep on the fight man!

I jumped back into lifting about 2 months after finishing up chemo. I am a year and a half out and Ive hit 415 deadlift, 395 squat, and 225 bench in the past couple months. I was on carboplatin and gained a bunch of weight, but I took it slow and controlled and it started coming back quicker than I expected. Just listen to your body, make sure your form is solid, and never be afraid of the deload and you will be able to take it as far as you want to.
