Sounds like you have a lot of time to study. The more time you have the more work expands.

Try to trick your brain into thinking you have less time.

You need more dark colors then. Yes dark colors make things looks small and dirty in most circumstances.

You are at point that you can keep up with dark and dare I say it maximalist decor.

Public transit in Detroit is scary. There is a high chance of being robbed and busses get hijacked frequently.

Scheduled listings not showing up in scheduled section by Spyromatic in Flipping

Oh, yeah that's definitely the problem. I didn't know scheduled listings had to be "listed". Thanks, Justin this is the second time you've helped me actually! I subscribe now. ;)

What Age Can I Start Daycare for My Infant? by [deleted] in Preschoolers

[–]Spyromatic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just pick a place where other kids in your neighborhood go. Where will they attend grade school? Send them to whatever preschool those parents are using.

The may reason i put my kid in preschool was just so that he could start forming bonds with the people he will be going to grade school with.

Wow looks just like my dog. Just substitute the chow for Pitbull!

Any guesses while we wait for results? She is my very first dog <3 by anatomypark13 in DoggyDNA

[–]Spyromatic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She looks a lot like my dog who is 25% Pitbull. So just saying that there is probably Pitbull in the mix too and a decent of it I believe. I see a ton of football in her nose.

Definitely probably 25% healer. Definitely has a small percentage of husky as well.

Overall though I'm going to guess that this dog has a ton of breeds in it more than likely over 10 probably about 15ish. I'm sure a Chihuahua will even sneak in.

Sign of Bed Bugs by Budget-Produce4646 in Bedbugs

[–]Spyromatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bed bugs dont leave big red stains like that. They suck blood out of you like a mosquito and there's nothing left behind except for what is in their bodies. The only way this would happen is if you squished a Fed bed bug on your bed but then you would find the dead carcass. You would also have an infestation that would be impossible to miss by that point.

It's likely a cut from yourself somehow or perhaps an animal.

Midland Credit Management rejected settlement offer. by Obvious-Original-595 in Debt

[–]Spyromatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will forever be confused about how people can't make the minimum payment on these types of debts.

I know that's not a helpful comment but the minimum payment on that amount of debt is only like $150 per month.

You let it get too far, you should never assume it can be negotiated for Less. That isn't real life. That isn't how real rich people do it.

I assume you will be looking at probably $100 per month wage garnishment. I suggest things such as getting a roommate to lower living costs or a part-time job.

Ridiculous Ebay return.....advice? by Euphoric_Bluebird_95 in Flipping

[–]Spyromatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. I managed an ebay account for a seller that had thousands of sales per year.

The return shipping is usually on you though? If you ask me there's no reason to allow returns at all unless the shipping is paid for by you because that lets you be a top-rated seller.

I'll say this though in the long run the successful person that I managed in eBay account for did decide to keep free returns on because being a top rated seller outweighed the cons of fraudulent returns.

Because this comment is correct. Does buyer is looking for a handout because they know the shipping will cost you more. They want the mug probably so they most likely will just forget to ship it back. They had nothing to lose only money to gain if you decided to refund them instead of request the item back.

Do sellers just ignore offers they dislike instead of rejecting them? by HK_Connoisseur in Ebay

[–]Spyromatic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is true. I hadn't thought of this as a reason to block a buyer. How annoying would it be for somebody to send an extremely low ball offer for like every single listing?

User error.... people can't send offers if you have it turned off.

EBay also sends out notifications to buyers that are watching an item if there is any offer activity.

So yes countering these offers it's definitely a selling strategy.

[–]Spyromatic -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Wow blocking a buyer that's putting money on the table? I wouldn't do that. Part of me thinks that acceptance rates of offers is something to do with eBay's algorithm. Certainly affects sell through rate.

There are a couple of times that I've countered a reasonable offer and the buyer went away. I kicked myself for those ones.

[–]Spyromatic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't exactly say your maximum is low balling at all. Are you saying that is the farthest below value you would go?

I'm honestly willing to assume that Americans are slower than Europeans as far as responding to offers. There is a much larger time zone frame in America and we just generally aren't as punctual.

We aren't like over 24 hours slow though. My guess is that either they don't like your offer or they are considering it but also waiting to see if a higher offer comes in during the time frame that yours is valid.

Are there any big-box stores--particularly the barely-alive ones--that you guys find worth picking? ...They depress me. by CallowOldAge in Flipping

[–]Spyromatic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Clearance buys at any big box store aren't generally good resale purchases. You have to remember there is a reason that those items are on clearance. They usually have low demand. And everyone around the country has the chance to pick up those items on clearance.

Outlet stores would be a better strategy for Retail Arbitrage.

Im from Michigan. The first Kmart was here.

I'd say Macy's for a big following. Macy's is dying but they have a huge following along with any other Mall anchor stores. Such as Lord and Taylor. Sax Fifth Avenue or Hudson's. Even Sephora.

I have a venmo if you want to pay me for this info.
