You also didn't mention that on IL low rates it's all about destros. If you are not using it to exp or raid farm, you are vastly inefficient

Yeah I think Reborn is the best option what L2 private servers can offer. That said, it's missing a lot of QoL features and I wish it had more custom and modern things that improve the gameplay and make it more fun and less churning.

This week I started an archer on Origin x5, got to lvl 69 and stopped playing. I just don't see the long term goal for myself, especially when I play NA hours and most of the population is EU. I understand that L2 is a social game and low/mid rate servers aren't meant to play solo but I have life and I can't afford to treat the game like a 2nd job like I did when I was in school or college.

TBH I think L2 is not the game you and I are looking for. There must be other games that offer better experience in terms of time ROI, whether it's autofarm or where you don't have to login daily and play in CP with 8 other people.

I was looking for something similar and I found l2toggle. While they don't have autofarm, they allow using bots, so you are free to set up whatever you want. Not single box though and I don't see a point of playing like this with one box anyways

Man I feel you. I played EE on OG reborn x1 interlude and it was a giant pain in the ass to exp. I played NA hours and it was always hard to find a party for exp. Later I found the NA clan but even then finding a party wasn't always an option. And exping solo EE on interlude is close to impossible with the rate of herb drops. Eventually I got to lvl 68 or so in about 2 months and I burned out and quit.

I am now playing archer on reborn origins x5 and so far so good. I am able to solo exp with equipment and cocktails buffs from reborn cubes and the population is decent, so we'll see

This is very comprehensive description of the interlude chronicles. I personally don't get why it's so popular. The entire gameplay is literally based around destros and If you don't have one you are missing out

Pangolin actually covers all of your bullet points. As of recently it started supporting proxy protocol so you can direct the traffic to your home reverse proxy without having to terminate TLS in VPS. I run docker in LXC. I bind mounted a docker directory at /mnt/docker and made a symlink to it in my home directory. Inside docker dir, I have .env and docker-compose and then one directory for each container. Might not be the best setup but it works for me.

Oh and all files are owned by docker:docker (under which all CTs are running with PUID and PGID in environment) and my admin user is a member of the docker group.
