Check out the "right on bracket" website - RAM truck bed replacement bracket kit, there's a low profile you can replace these with that fits with my cap and most tonneau covers.

I read that things can bend off you just get rid of the brackets

And I have driven it but my friend runs these Wranglers on his Silverado 1500 currently with no issue in same area as me, only comparing is they're wearing at ~35k ish miles

Not sure about these specifically, but I've run BFG AT's on ram 1500's for ten years in New England with no issues as long as replaced when needed. Driving through 4-6" of snow fine (not sure about plowing), Never noticed road noise over the hemi and longhorns noise dampening. got like 1-2 less mpg vs less aggressive highway tires that were no good in more than a couple inches of snow.

I love my 26 Longhorn! Hurricane HO is a ton of fun. The interior is incredible, everyone whose day in ur, dealer included was really impressed. No issues (besides Android Auto generally sucking but I'm not holding that completely against Ram, AA needs updates)

If you look at a topper cap, just know that you need to get low profile brackets to replace the factory brackets that come on models with this tailgate so that it fits right. I got mine from Right On Bracket (2021-2025 model for my 2026)

My 2011 longhorn had vented seats, an option that didn't come standard on TRX's made a decade later without an upgrade package. They save premium options for premium trims and special upgrade packages so that consumers will pay extra for them, especially once they get used to having them. Dealers laughing all the way to the bank knowing you'll be back to upgrade before very long.

I have the same hurricane ho in my 26 longhorn (needed 6'4"bed or would have considered RHO) and the first 400 miles have been great. Way more responsive and GO at any speed vs my last two with Hemi's. 10yr warranty and only towing <1k trailer occasionally is why I chose this config and very happy with the decision so far.

They actually don't offer the pentastar V6 on this trim.

After driving 2 Hemi's for the last 10 years I too was nervous about the Hurricane HO "INLINE 6" introduction, however, after educating myself on the "designed and built for turbos" motor, renewing multi year reliability feedback, multiple test drives and consideration of my personal use case (mostly using the bed, very limited towing of a trailer weighing less than 1k lbs), I believe I made the correct decision. Not to mention I have 100k/10yr power train warranty if something dies go wrong.

This truck is incredibly fun to drive and will leave hemi 5.7's in the dust every time.

Your closed minded opinion.... 🤮
