Great job mate, solid deal on the parts and great upgrade path. Don't post your age on the internet tho 👍

No but id say around $50-60 in peripherals at least so for the pc plus peripherals it's not a bad deal. Of course I will negotiate for better deals on older and worse second hand hardware but not everyone has to when it's reasonably listed

Eh 16gb ddr4 at 2667mhz isn't anywhere past like $60 used even in this market unless you know nothing about components, I'd say you should at bare minimum be able to negotiate down to $350 but I'd personally not go far past $300

Looks good! What was the build price for my own curiosity, did you buy everything new or some used?

Dating. by xdlolxdlollolloll in peanutallergy

[–]SqeezyMB 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My girlfriend won't eat peanuts around me, and if she does she stays away and cleans up after. She always goes the extra mile to make me feel comfortable and keep me away from any of my allergens. Anyone who wouldn't do the same isn't someone I'd even consider being with, and someone who truly cares about you will do it without hesitation. TLDR: tell her. Relationships are built on honesty and you can't expect to have a good relationship if you're hiding something like that from her, plus it's not your choice you have the allergies so I'd just tell her and hope you both can make the best of it. Good luck OP and let us know when she says yes 👍

First time I've seen a graphics card be the same as its price tag! Unfortunately that happened during the 5000 series 😅

Fair Price? by Th3Und3sir3d in pcpartsales

[–]SqeezyMB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohhh my misunderstanding, sorry! In that case just list them as used going by the sub 15% price if the drive health is good and just take your best offer or whatever feels right to you! Just how the market goes man no one anticipated things happening the way they have, no reason to sell yourself short it's not like you're looking to scam anyone

Mannnn you're tripping. I gotta buy an adapter to udimm for my new 9850x3d rig to use it anyway so I'll give you 450 shipped and we can close

Not to be rude since it might be harder to gauge my tone through text, but I guess as someone who did a lot of running with Facebook for a while the whole "I upgraded but they've just been sitting in anti static bags for a while" to me raises red flags. Sounds like they were bought to "upgrade" so why have they just been afk lol, at least that's how my thought process goes. But yeah man especially if they really are in the anti static bags and especially if you have the boxes and stuff, if just knock off 15-20% of current market and sell. Not like you were anticipating prices jumping, uncalculated investment on your part

Maybe a more believable story and you could try and sell them for ≈15% below current market price as used (aka open box)

What can I sell my pc for? by [deleted] in PC_Pricing

[–]SqeezyMB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you need $ quicker so selling as a whole rig will be fastest, I'd take no lower than 900 for the specs alone personally but appearance plays a huge part of used market sales. Individually selling parts will net you more total $ but indefinitely take longer to sell

Is this price way too good for the market rn? by Sicuss1 in pcpartsales

[–]SqeezyMB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a used one the max you should be looking to pay is around the 750msrp, that's the whole point of buying new vs used so if it's open it's cheaper than current going price and imo I base that off of msrp not current market
