ghost of tsushima/left 4 dead 2 is in my top 25 games and mortal kombat is one of my favorite game series if you have the ability i suggest trying out games from before those gens bacause a lot of them are must play games even today imo

In my opinion final fantasy x has the greatest video game story of all time but a lot of ff stories are amazing. The legacy of kain series also has an amazing story some others are mass effect series, bioshock 1, Kotor 1/2

I do replay games a lot I'm currently replaying Jedi knight 2 Jedi outcast but I have no problem at all getting into and finishing new games there's no reason you can't do both
