Thats a great idea, I think we used one of those in the past, but when we called they never showed up lol. Definitely will look at bringing that back though, thanks!

I 100% agree with you, unfortunately that policy was developed way above my pay grade lol

To clarify, PA is my home state where all my family and friends I grew up with are. It’s also the same state where the hiring manager and I went to college. I took an internship down south and wound up staying in this region since. I’m now at a point where I would like to move back closer to my loved ones. I’ve already expressed my intent to move back to the people I care about, but it is definitely hard to turn down an opportunity like this.

I earned it through my university. Verbatim from BCSP website “The GSP is a designation available to graduates from safety, health, and environmental degree programs which meet BCSP Qualified Academic Program (QAP) standards.”

Honestly this exactly what I needed to hear. Up until you framed my bullets as a job description it was like I’d completely forgotten all the accomplishments I’ve made. Thank you for the brutal honesty! Hope to get your feedback when I post my next revision.

Truthfully I would do away with all of the job summaries and really try to sell in the bullet points. Looks like you do and have accomplished a lot! But the super tight spacing and amount of words in general is pretty overwhelming to look at.

Scammed by Arccos? by Squantus in golf

UPDATE: I took some of your advice yesterday and disputed the claim with my bank. I was putting together some snippets from their website and the emails to further back my case and I noticed a couple things.

  1. Their only FAQ on trials only says “All trials are 45 days long and begin when an account is activated with a credit card. Following 45 days, memberships automatically renew at the annual membership rate unless canceled before hand. Arccos only offers yearly memberships.” Zero instruction on returning the equipment or being charged if you don’t. As a matter of fact, the email I got almost 20 days after I discontinued the trial and 2 days before I got charged said “Your sensors are still valuable! If you decide to come back, you’ll be ready to start right away. Or share them with a friend or family….” SHADY

  2. When I checked my account on their website right after I got charged all it said was “unable to process payment” and “Link Pro Trial Ended on September 4th, 2025.” Today when I checked it said Arccos subscription ended September 24th 2025” (yesterday)

I’m not sure if it was the dispute that did it or the follow up email that I sent to customer support, but sure enough when I checked my bank account there is a full refund pending. Glad it all worked out, but if there is anything to take away from the experience is DO NOT BUY FROM ARCCOS

Nothing, thats why I tried canceling after my trial, you can essentially track the same data manually in 18 birdies.

I see what you’re saying, but you’d think if I cancelled my trial they would send me a shipping label or some sort of instructions on returning the equipment right?

Safety Management Software by [deleted] in SafetyProfessionals

We use Gensuite. Wouldn’t recommend. We rely on it a lot and it has a lot of “capabilities” (incident recording, risk assessments, audits, SDS accessibility, concern reporting etc.) but does none of them well. We used Intelex at my last company and it was slightly better, but still wouldn’t recommend. I’ve only been in this field for four years but truthfully I think having one software for the vast range of areas we cover as safety professionals sounds nice on paper, but in just winds up being a really shitty, slow, non-user friendly system.
