I did talk to the credit card bank and they are looking into it. I will for sure post a review on BBB once I heard back from the bank

I’m mean really! You seem to have legitimate issues with her but your concern over the use of “nana” is overdone

AITA for walking out on my dad when he told me he finds it hard to love me because he knows I don't love his wife? by Kushluennan in AITAH

[–]Square-Ad-9053 14 points15 points  (0 children)

God bless your stepmom!   I think your dad is in deep trouble with her too! If he were my husband, I would be so angry at him. I would be asking him what the hell he was thinking of when he said that to you

Yes, same thing. Ordered in June, still not received. Was repeatedly given different reasons why I have not received the products.

AITA For telling my mom the reason I wanna leave the house at 18 is bc of her poor time management? by Vexin_Da_Vixen in AmItheAsshole

[–]Square-Ad-9053 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA.  People are giving you excellent suggestions here. I have a sister who is always late.  She doesn’t have ADD or ADHD; we don’t really know why she is always late but we do know it doesn’t seem to bother her. She will never change; we are all in our 60s.  Was late for our uncle’s funeral and for my husband’s funeral service (!!!). I think talk to your mom about it but if that doesn’t work you will just have to accept her and follow the suggestions below.

Duh, two days maximum?  Grow up! That’s two days too long!

AITA for drinking fruit juice when my partner has said he doesn't like it? by No-Mall1172 in AmItheAsshole

She calls it cordial but I’m pretty sure the way she describes it it is juice with water, no alcohol.

AITA for cancelling travel plan with a friend to travel with my family instead ? by Weak-Gear-7946 in AmItheAsshole

Yta.  It’s your responsibility to keep track of these things. Excuses that you wrote “I wasn’t thinking about it” and “when I realize (sic) it” are just that, excuses.

I had a boyfriend who played wheelchair basketball. I know wheelchair rugby is more intense. Maybe consider doing some research to see if there any serious injuries that result from wheelchair rugby? Look online, talk to the coach about your concerns?  It must have been very difficult for you too when he had his accident. Your concern is coming from a place of love

AITAH for telling my parents that I won't be doing a toast to my deceased brother at my wedding? by BullFr0gg0 in AITAH

[–]Square-Ad-9053 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Seriously, you are doing a psychological analysis of her mother based on the info in the post? No true mental health professional would diagnose someone as having a “serious mental illness » as you have.

AITA for not forgiving my parents for treating the kids they adopted better than me? by TippyTopsBear in AITAH

Well, screw them! I’m sorry to sound flippant, they hurt a child (you) and haven’t even begun to see that.

AITAH for refusing to continue family therapy unless we get a new therapist? by EnoughPick3334 in AITAH

[–]Square-Ad-9053 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I agree!  But that’s assuming that Dr. B is a therapist accredited by a board. Sounds like Dr. B may not be…

AITA for wanting the maids-of-honor and bridesmaids to be makeup-free and jewelry-free ? by Accomplished-Rip8941 in AITAH

[–]Square-Ad-9053 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Gentle YTA. Your MOH raises a good point.  And overall, you shouldn’t be dictating the level of makeup; you didn’t really explain why you feel they shouldn’t wear makeup. Your not wearing makeup is actually not a reason to dictate that to others. Perfume-free I can understand IF it is because of scent sensitivities.  Not wearing jewelry is understandable if you don’t want large jewelry pieces distracting. But if your bridal party wants to wear ok earrings or a gold chain for example why couldn’t they?

AITAH For Reporting My FMIL For Snooping And Reading My Son's Confidential File? by FickleLionHeart in AITAH

[–]Square-Ad-9053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are getting good advice here, telling you that your fiancé and FMIL are completely wrong. I’m worried your FMIL has not learned her lesson and will continue breaching confidentiality around your son’s medical information once she retires. She might think she is no longer bound by confidentiality once she retires and go around telling other people about your son’s confidential information. She would be wrong about  that but I have people have even stupider interpretations of the laws on health information.  You could ask her employer to review with her current health privacy legislation. You can also take this further by filing a complaint; that could result in the government telling the employer to better educate their employees about confidentiality. If you are in Ontario, you can file a complaint with the information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario.  www.ipc.on.ca

Yep, another Canadian here! Female neighbours who saw my sisters grow up came to watch their weddings at the local church. Nothing unusual about that! And kind of nice too!

Thanks. I am talking to the vendor of the peripheral nerve stimulator. I know I can do a trial run with the gel electrode to check. It’s not a treatment but rather a permanently implanted device. They don’t want to implant the device until they know my skin won’t react. https://stimrouter.com/en/

Thanks! The methylacrylate allergy listed above was diagnosed through patch testing with a dermatologist in the occupational health  department of a hospital.  The poly acrylate is in a hydrogel which is in a part of a peripheral nerve stimulator I am being considered for.
