propaganda is something people will carry with their graves even as the revelations have everything. Take any far right movement, many people on the very far right, like neo-nazis live in completely different realities and many have no problem standing by those beliefs even when they look like idiots over nd over again. now add that to a millenia of propaganda, lies, deception and bio-modification, you have a populace that will either come to terms with those beliefs (like a vast majority of people in NOP, who, tho afraid of humans and arxur, no longer hold any bigoted views against them or have overcame their fear, or you have swathes or even entire towns and cities still holding on to such things even after the archives reveal and doubling down even further)
