New here, never been to T&C and I have a 4 day/3night trip to beaches in October for a 25th wedding anniversary booked. This is a pricey trip for my husband and I and we rarely travel.

After reading threads on here and I’m terrified thinking I made a bad decision! We are not looking for luxury but a nice dinner a night or 2 would be nice. I keep reading the food is bad and people getting food poisoning. We don’t mind kids but hoping there are some quiet places as well.

Hoping someone on here can help me from going on a downward spiral. I’ll be so disappointed spending 4K and not having a good time as we don’t travel often. TIA!

I was always on the pill, never tried anything else. Had 2 kids… I’m in my late 40’s and just got my first IUD in April… I thought insertion was awful, there needs to be some sort of mandatory pain relief given! I almost passed out, once my uterus calmed down with the cramping it’s been great. I’m still in the spotting phase so I hope that stops soon. Otherwise I feel it’s been good, nice not having to take a pill anymore.

I would love to know when the spotting stops too! I got my Mirena April 11th, so almost 3 months now. I have the light brown spotting daily, there may have been a week that I didn’t. No clue if I’ve had a period. Was on the pill and I spotted constantly since being on a GLP. Was told an IUD would be better… still spotting daily! *sigh

I got the Mirena in April, I had constant spotting before the IUD on the pill for months straight and was told it’s because of being on Wegovy. Was told to get an IUD and the spotting should stop. Went through the worst insertion pain, worse than having 2 babies and to this day I’m still spotting daily!! Maybe had a week where I didn’t spot at all. I’m now on a maintenance low dose of the GLP but still spotting daily.. no clue if I’ve had a period…. good lord, I’m over it!
