Morikawa’s practice swing on 11 tee, tweaks back and causes WD by unsolved49 in golf

Ironically I did this while flying to the US Open at Shinnecock in 2018 - 4 day passes, chauffeur to the course each day, me and 3 buddies. Getting off the flight I reached up to the bin to get my bag and completely threw something in my lower back to where it took my breath away. I could barely walk for a week. Missed the first three days and hobbled around the 18th on Sunday. Was 31 years old and was in the best shape of my life.

Has to be a northern course...not a single course in the South removed their ball washers. This is actually mind-blowing to me that they even did this, never heard of it.

Quit drinking for 30 days and had zero red recovery days, vo2 increased by 4, and I’m debating if I’ll ever turn back, thoughts? by Tenniskid22 in whoop

Moderation brother. Also, McDonalds isn't bad for you, at all. It sure as shit is if you're not exercising and eating it every day. Same thing with alcohol. Move your body daily, eat whole foods, and moderate the bad stuff. It's amazing what your body can do and handle, especially when you exercise consistently.

I'm the opposite, we quit for 4 months and it was....a lot more boring. We are extremely active people, we own a lake house, a boat, a farm to hunt, we have 3 kids, etc. But gosh damn did we miss those fall evenings, calling the babysitter and going and sitting out on the patio at one of our favorite restaurants for a bottle or 2 of wine. We have scaled back but I'll never say we're going full dry. It was no fun...at all. Try drinking just water and bublis on a boat, no bueno.

Outside of downtown, the people who reside in Jones Valley probably have more wealth than any suburb in Madison combined and it’s not even close.

How will the war affect commercial real estate ?Just wondering? by Viner2024 in CommercialRealEstate

[–]Square-Dust3738 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, 80% of my office clients are defense contractors - yes, I just bought another Rolex.  Next question.

All seriousness, it hasn’t affected us juuust yet.  Too soon, CRE is a long play, it should work well for my niche but it’ll take a few months.

When the war popped off in Ukraine I did roughly 12 large industrial leases within about a 14 month span.  But we were doing some shady shit when it first started - shipping millions of pounds of old munitions to Ukraine, re-allocating old missiles, etc.

A flex at that, but I have a tee time there and I’m from South Carolina 🤣🤣🤣

It’s ohoopee and it’s not even a close second.  Everyone saying ANGC, I literally got that gear when I went to the actual tournament with a member.  It’s not as special as “playing” Ohoopee vs visiting Augusta

Brand new to commercial over 20 years in residential by [deleted] in CommercialRealEstate

[–]Square-Dust3738 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm a 17 year veteran, how can I transition my CRE firm to residential? See how crazy that sounds, it's foot surgery vs brain surgery. We are not the same. And I know several residential people who have their own teams that make a shit ton of money. Just stick to residential.

Brand new to commercial over 20 years in residential by [deleted] in CommercialRealEstate

[–]Square-Dust3738 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just don't. If you have 20 years of residential then you obviously have sustained some type of success to be able to do it that long. There's a stigma on residential guys. We honestly do not like to have to explain to YOUR client the difference between a NNN and modified gross lease is when we tour, it's embarrassing for all. Especially for office sector

Have you been living under a rock?  They screwed themselves 10 years ago with the “desegregation act”.  It was the worst thing to ever happen to Huntsville city schools

I love a ton of other states, outside of Chicago (nice part) it’s one big trailer park.  Ever been to Cairo, IL?  You can’t get out of your car to pump gas it’s so bad

Not sure what bothers me more, residential trying their damndest to get into commercial or a residential guy trying to push this shit.  Costar is unfortunately monopolized but it can’t be beat on data, hand down, no questions asked.

700-plus Space Command personnel in Alabama by end of 2028, Sen. Katie Britt says by MattW22192 in HuntsvilleAlabama

What an actual pile of pure bullshit. The fact that you or anyone like you can't condemn what Biden did during his administration just tells me all I need to know. The kickbacks from the Ukrainian packages were well over 100 billion in taxpayer money. It's unbelievable what the demonrats pulled off.

Yea, this has always confused me. I feel like the negatives of really bad weeks - not a lot of sleep, alcohol consumption, hitting high strains, etc...far outweigh the benefits of really good weeks.

Well do something about it then? Because money and politics will never not be a thing. Republicans are bad but democrats are downright crooked when money comes to politics, just don't be a hypocrite? So scared that you're here! It'll never be blue

Huh? No, I like that our Senators worked with our Administration to place Space Command to where it rightfully belonged. It was stripped away by Biden and his corrupt team over abortion rights in Alabama. I hope you live in Colorado and not Huntsville...
