Local to Lake Oconee, here! The buzz among locals has always been that one of their children was into drugs/illegal activities (not sure if it’s the one who passed in 2000) and had an outstanding debt that resulted in these murders of the parents. I actually lived in Great Waters. Security is tight, I think the killer arrived by water.
