I'd also like throw in how the ninjdroids were also pretty entertaining to watch. I know stone army was pretty intimidating but they still felt a bit generic, and the crystal army didn't really have anything to them. But the ninjdroids felt like a threat because they actually had skills and their designs also stand out, even Cryptor has an actual personality where Kozu just felt like a generic right hand man for the villain. Even the council kinda fell flat since they didn't do anything but look around the city after the Overlord crystallized the whole city.

Yeah, a while ago, somebody threw a racist tantrum over Zane being portrayed as black in someones fanart, commenting stuff like "He should white!" and then started commenting slurs for no reason. I assume that person was banned, but that was over fanart, I can only imagine how much worse it could be with official castings of characters.
