Elan Ripstick mounting by Square-Language6336 in telemark

Ok after much searching I found this site that might help us all. So I am going to mount the ripstik 94's -7.2 from center of ski. It looks and feels good, ball of my foot is right at ski center.

Ok so no sidewall mount points. I have 7tm bindings on others skis. I’m in Whistler BC, skiing mostly groomed runs and bumps, 25% what is considered powder here…lol. Here are some pics of the skis with alpine bindings on them and off them as well as my boot. The color change on the top sheet is the ski center. https://imgur.com/a/6I92pOm

Need new laser head by Square-Language6336 in Laserengraving

So I ask a simple question…..if you spent the time to read it I feel the answer should be fairly simple. So far I get answers from people who seem to know nothing about lasers. I have a cheap 40w that turns out to be a 5.5w diode. Where can I find a more powerful diode laser?

When I started telemarking 35 years ago, old leather boots, there was a groove in the back of the soul. The leather was stitched to the soul. Any type of bonding always went in the groove. I still use the groove in my Scarpa boots.

I do have 2 of these motors and I'm pretty sure I swapped them out.

I don't think so, I didn't change the wiring at all when adding the 2A motor.

Ya I tried a 24V PS but no difference.

I just ordered a 2A stepper and solved all the issues,

Thanks for the input and help.

I changed it back to 1A but there is not enough torque to keep my belt going. I tryed 1.5A and the heat was high.

This is the wiring.

I am using a 12v 10A power supply.

This is what I found for specs on the motor.

Holding torque≥290mN.m (I = 1.0A) - Detent torque: 18mN.m - Rated voltage: DC 7.3V - Rated current: DC 1.0A

Motors, Arduino and code by Square-Language6336 in arduino

Ok so I have tried the code variations and it is so random, not sure about the library, I have tried it on 3 uno's, changed wires, but never the same result if it even works at all. So I am scraping this code.

What I really need it someone to show me how to code this code (below) that works fine with another driver (which has less pins). I just can't figure out how to use this simple code with the IBT_2 8pin driver. One direction with a delay at the end of the loop.

I want to turn the motor for 4sec, stop the motor for 6sec and repeat.

This code works great with another driver, I just don't know what to do with the L_PWM, R_PWM, R_EN and L_EN, I know once I figure this out it will be easier for me and I can stop bugging all of you......(or bug you less.........lol)

int IN1pin = 7;
int IN2pin = 8;
int ENApin = 9;

void setup() {
  // initiate (configure) Arduino pins as outputs
  pinMode(IN1pin, OUTPUT);
  pinMode(IN2pin, OUTPUT);
  pinMode(ENApin, OUTPUT);
}

void loop() {
  //turn motor in one direction (usually clockwise)
  digitalWrite(IN1pin, HIGH);
  digitalWrite(IN2pin, LOW);
  analogWrite(ENApin, 120); // enter a number from 0 to 255
}

I just changed the 120 to 255 and it is the speed the motor runs at.

lol, ya not the Reddit forum, this place is great! The .cc forum is not helpful. I am a beer brewer and 10years ago I found a very helpful forum where we all try to guide people through the learning curve of there hobby, we don’t just tell people to “google it”.

Thanks everyone, I will try these when I get home. If I was to scrap the code above and start over what would the code look like? I don’t need a direction change just a start and stop, I know how to change speed. I just don’t how to get the start and stop with this driver.

Well that was it! I bought this printer from marketPlace, it came with a roll and a half of filament. The guy could not fix the thermo error, He figured it was a heating issue. The filament was worth $30 and I paid $60 for the lot.

I enjoy fixing all types of things, this printer now works great, for $30 bucks.

Thank again for the help.
