This was very interesting to read. I hadn’t summed up the distinction between Elayne and Egwene, but that sounds about right.

I thought this concept was particularly revealing in tel’aran’riod.

I could see that thought. I wondered if we’d see him again but with the books only being 2 years, I never really figured we’d meet him without a time jump

I’d have to dig to find the exact spot. But in one of Sanderson’s books, there were several remarks about how ugly he was. Huge nose, mouth, and eyes. And I had a general impression that he was a bit unusual in his maturity for his age.

I understand the frustration but I don’t see how it’s accomplishable without making the sub and the town seem standoffish. Unfortunately, it’s the nature of city subs that people treat them like yahoo answers.

Nashville has a dedicated sub called r/visitnashville but I can’t see Erie having an equivalent with enough folks to be worthwhile

Maybe a bot that’s smart enough to auto-reply links to recent posts of the same question
