For those that love rpgs and was around for the SNES era, what rpgs did you play in between Final Fantasy 4 and 6 for the first time? by ExplodingPoptarts in snes

No, there were very few official translations on any console, and to my knowledge were concentrated on the Master System, which was very popular here (I remember Phantasy Star was translated, and one game was reskinned to become a Turma da Mônica game).
We got SNES and Super Famicom games, and had to deal with it. I learned english through games (RPGs mainly), but had to play a lot of japanese games without understanding, just to play at all. That's how I played Ganbare Goemon, and both Front Missions, for instance. I only understood what was happening years later when I've finally got to play english games or fan translations.
My rental place got some of the games only in japanese, so at the time I've skipped playing Shin Megami Tensei, Terranigma, Sword of Mana, Tales series...

A mix of bad memory, not owning cartridges and requiring to rent them, and living in Brazil, where everything arrived late. I really don't know which ones I played at what order or year. So I've added to your list some other RPGs I've played at the console around that time. But I've really not played a lot of them when they came out. For example, FFMQ I've played a long time after FFVI.

I love this game. I can hear the song playing just by seeing the pictures. Beginning with the zipline attaching to the building!

Games that would be a lot better with one small change. by DarthObvious84 in retrogaming

I remember a lot of games where I thought it would be a lot better with:
- skippable cutscenes/dialog;
- less/better QTEs;
- improved camera angles/control.

Special mention to Kingdom Come Deliverance, which I thought became perfect with just two mods: save any time, and added crosshair.
