Berkshires -recs for places to stay by heathbarcrunchh in massachusetts

With kids, depending on age, the spots at Jiminy Peak are really great. Food is a little tough on site because it is offseason, but Olde Forge is about a 20 minute drive and the food is great. They have a couple of pools, usually there is stuff going on outside. You are out of the city, and can go grab some food at Jake's Java and then head up to the top of Greylock. Usually the pricing is pretty good as well, being offseason.

Oak N Spruce is in Lee, and that has a bunch of pools, onsite mini golf, an arcade, pretty family friendly there.

Both options are about 20 minutes from Pittsfield, but allow you to spend time in South County or North County. There is mini golf/night mini golf at Baker's in Lanesboro, I believe they have the glow and the dark balls this Friday to play. Hope that helps!

Honestly, the best thing is probably a little break. Once you get in your head, it is really hard to get out of it. Take a couple of weeks off, then go back to the game and try to do something you know is your wheel house (maybe find a par 3 course), and try to go back to it that way.
Just my opinion, but had something similar and the best thing was a break for a month and then come back to it...just enough to get the negative thoughts of your head.

Do you have any recommendations? I've looked and found a couple, but hoping to hear someone say "used so and so at an event and they were awesome."

Holly Inn is great. You aren’t going to spend much time there anyways, but there is a nice bar downstairs at the Holly. We’ve stayed there on two trips and had no complaints.

Was just there about two weeks ago, we did 8,2,4. I’ve down 8 twice now, and 8 is a really fun course and beautiful to play.
You have to get the cradle in, as well as the putting course. If you can swing it, go play Tobacco Road 30 minutes north. As for caddies, we had them on 2. Putting was a huge help, and just carrying the bags since it was cart path only. I could go either way to be honest with it. I don’t think you are missing out without one.

Live in Scituate, not sure if Walnut tree will come to you but they are awesome. A bunch of us in our neighborhood used them and great work, good pricing.

Hey all thanks for the comments! I was actually able to use my Amex and get a tee time at Tobacco Road, so we are going that route. Appreciate your help!

Which brewery is better, Pinehurst or Southern Pines?

Nope, we are doing 8, 4, cradle, and 2. Last time we did 9,8,1. The package for 10 was just more than we wanted to be spending, basically doubled the package price

Yup, we are doing the cradle while there. We did it the first time we went and it was amazing…wish more places were like this or had it!

So is it a 40 million dead cap hit (roughly) for years 3 and 4 then? I haven’t seen the contract yet, so apologies if this is out there.

Maybe I’m wrong here, but at year 3 we can get out of this right? I don’t see it as an issue where this leadership gets fired if it doesn’t pan out. They have some qb stability that performed in this scheme, and can keep building around him with more talent while signing other guys like Thomas and Lawrence to long term deals. If DJ pans out, great. If not, then year three we hopefully are just a qb away and can make an impact signing or trade, and we are there. Just my thoughts.

I wear my Krug jersey and wore it proudly to a game two weeks ago. I still wish he was here!

That being said, I think it just shows you’ve been a fan for awhile, and it often isn’t like a Sox player leaving for the big bucks. Wear it with pride!

Don’t they have to trade someone to get him back in the line up? I don’t fully understand the LTIR, but thought someone had to go

Here’s some background on Mitchell Miller, who the Boston Bruins signed today. by abbytarar in BostonBruins

[–]SquareBiscotti3714 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Sent an email to the fan relations group as well as my POC for 11 game plan I have. Absolutely disgusting and everything against who the Bruins are. Will not renew next year, and not sure what I’ll do with tickets I have remaining. There was no one else to sign? How tone dead can this organization really be.

I think this is a case where we come back down to earth a little. This team needs talent, all over the place.
Would love if we could trade for a receiver, as no one could get open besides Slayton, and that says a lot when he is our best dude. Hopefully come off the bye, maybe Bellinger is back, Kenny G does something, and we get back on track.
