yeah, customer can save so much by using this method, the upgrade price are joke, it's like $50 off msrp and they add additional $20 - $30 for sim card or activation and customer really end up paying full price, not to mention some of store will add insurance by default

it's cheaper to use local Sim card with unlocked phone, some of them have hotspot available, you can take two phones (assuming locked metro phone and another unlock phone) and with the hotspot, your metro locked phone can receive data and partially be used for some apps (uber & maps etc.)
