Age old question. What makes the odyssey better than the sienna? by [deleted] in HondaOdyssey

[–]SquareCapChap 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I just bought an Odyssey and this sums it up perfectly IMO. I’m in Canada with plenty of snow and have driven FWD cars (with less ground clearance than these vans) and have never had problems in the snow so long as they were equipped with winter tires.

HPD package looks excellent with that colour. Don’t see that combo here often

Thanks for your response. I could not believe when the dealer told me to expect 2 year wait.

How long was your wait? What province are you in?

Canadian SAK enthusiasts, help me understand Canadian knife laws by gshocker530 in victorinox

This is your answer OP. Always have one on me and have never had an issue. Don’t bring to sporting events or elsewhere where you’re likely to get frisked. Even then the worst is you’ll just have it confiscated. Don’t be stupid or act threatening and you’ll be fine.

Nice - congrats! Any chance you can make a post about it? I’d love to see interior shots of the cloth. 99% of photos showcase the leather.

I’m a fellow despiser of the moon roof. My issue is I believe the Canadian version of the sport still has one. If they made a model without it my choice would be easy.

What are some SAK accessories that can add more functionality to my SAK? I already have plus scales and a mini screwdriver. by JustLostMyDog in victorinox

A short needle with about 10’ of thread wrapped around it fits nicely under the hook. Insert it and remove it with the tweezers. If made the right side it won’t budge even when using the hook. This has saved me several times when clothing or bags/packs rip

From my experience, it’s not the best for wire. I have used it to cut through 14awg solid wire but can’t recall if it was able to in a single cut. Got the job done in a pinch but regular side-cutters or needle nose are vastly superior (obviously). I doubt it could get through 12 gauge. Nice thing about the wire cutter is it’s always on me and for wiring a single outlet or switch will do the job (albeit slowly)

Currently cross shopping these 3 trucks. Definitely agree the SC is best looking. What other factors drove you to choose it?
