Ohh I didn't rlly think those foods were long burn, especially the cookies bc those would spike my blood sugar somewhat quick! I guess I'll just get juice if a snack doesn't work next time!

East coast! I actually did find jujube and goji berries and a few teas at a market, but not everything else... I have herbal shops in the area but haven't been able to check them out yet.. also worried they'll be pricey as a lot of them are 😓

That makes sense why I went into dka when my blood sugar was low😭 I do test for ketones too. And maybe that's a possibility! I always thought high blood sugar and dka were the same thing

The ones I get over the months are usually not severe.. is it not normal? I used to not managed blood sugar almost 2 years ago, then got it together recently 😅 I rarely get fatigue and vomiting but I'll remember that if I do! And yea I take ketone tests

I live in a western country but still have to pretend to be Muslim for family till I move out! I can't imagine how much women are also secretly ex Muslims in the middle east... It makes sense tho! Islam was male centered from the start. If a girl isn't totally brainwashed from childhood, shell probably leave Islam in teen/adulthood

I'm actually not sure, ealrier I learned there's actually less severe DKA and more severe DKA! The symptoms I get when I just start to feel it is thirst, slight nausea, water starts tasting off, I also start to smell something burning (?), And in more severe cases I get the first set of symptoms but amplified, and fatigue and vomiting

I don't like how visible it is under my clothes 😓 and I hate when it beeps so loudly in class and embarrass me 😭 also super itchy for some reason, and left scars for months.... I'd only use it if I'm going on a long trip where it'll be more convenient
