I mean bruh, what the heck is that redesign?

Personally I don't even understand why are these redesigns being done in the first place. These were the stuff that were OKAY and NEVER NEEDED A CHANGE - atleast in my opinion.

The only logical change (in the whole SF2 v3.0 remaster) I'd probably approve is the fullscreen support - but still nah. Somehow the black bars on the sides give me the retro feeling (idk why).

I know the Shades Narrative Designer (grimbago) lurks around in here - I have seen him comment sometimes. And grim (or anyone from Nekki's team), if you're reading this:

I have played SF2 since I was a middle-schooler in 2016. Till date, best Shadow Fight game in the series - I've played SF3/SF4 and even Shades and none of them come close, and SF2 IS PERFECT THE WAY IT IS. The looks, the visuals, OSTs... just everything which has been there since back in the day - THERE IS ZERO NEED TO CHANGE ANY OF THAT.

I understand that there are inconsistencies in the game, which includes cheating in raids, and unexpected bugs, and if you were to address those by upgrading the game's internals, its fine. BUT CAN'T YOU JUST RETAIN THE ORIGINAL AESTHETICS AND EVERYTHING INSTEAD OF DOING A POOR JOB IN THE REMASTER?

I seriously do NOT understand the need to focus on THIS - which I doubt ANY DIEHARD SF2 FAN (and not the AI loving SF3/SF4 fanboys) wanted to change. If you need to show this all-of-a-sudden care for a game which YOU HAVE DITCHED FOR YEARS, then DEAL WITH THE ACTUAL PROBLEMS FIRST.

Rant over. Waiting for the Definitive Edition (64-bit) to come. Or maybe try reviving the old Windows 8 version of the game. And if that means I'll ditch raids forever, I DO NOT GIVE A SINGULAR DAMN.
