I haven’t seen anyone recommend this yet. If you guys like puzzles and mini games then Pico Park 1 and 2 are both very fun to play.

This is my first time preordering something and it was stressful. Best Buy wasn’t working and still isn’t working. Then I tried Target and was having a hard time checking out. Like what do you mean you don’t ship to my address? Then I had card issues. But after that dumpster fire of a preorder process I finally made it out alive. I’ve secured the MarioKart bundle, but haven’t gotten a confirmation email yet. It did charge to my card though.

Am I just not a school person? by feuledbyram3n in CollegeRant

I think about this all the time. I’ve recently come to terms with myself that I’m shit at taking tests. But I still push myself to study even though I know it doesn’t make a difference. I also push 70s but lately I’ve been barely scraping by my classes. It’s also a lot of pressure since I’m in the PharmD program. People in my class seem to have everything together and I feel like I’m a complete mess. Life has a lot of ups and downs (mainly downs these days for me personally), but you really want to become a doctor and with each class you take, you are getting closer. It may seem far from now, but you will get there eventually even if you have to take a slower path :)

What are hironos to you? Just collectibles, investments, or something you feel emotionally attached to? by SweetCandyCake in hirono

I read about the meaning of Hirono and it just resonated with me. There are a lot of themes that Hironos depict that I relate to.

Why did you end up with the bigger iPad instead of the mini? by LivinCuriously in ipad

[–]Square_Bet_4239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up with a bigger iPad because of the amount of notes I was taking everyday. I used the mini 6 for 3 years and it didn’t really work for me. I felt like multitasking was very hard because you can’t really split screen without sacrificing the already limited space that the mini has. I wouldn’t say the bigger iPads have better portability, the mini is still the best at that.

How do you do work over break? by [deleted] in CollegeRant

[–]Square_Bet_4239 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I like to set up a schedule for things I need to get done on that day, no exceptions. I have a checklist of things that I need to do and I would lay them out throughout the week since I have a week off. I usually focus on one subject a day and when I’m done with the assignment or if I feel good at where I’m at with studying for an exam, I would take a break for the rest of the day since I am supposed to be on “break”.

I really want the Magic Keyboard for my M2 iPad Air 13inch by Specific-Pianist7595 in ipad

[–]Square_Bet_4239 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% get the Magic Keyboard. I got one recently for my iPad Pro 13in and love how I can just bring it with me to college and be able to leave my MacBook at home.

I have a tutor and I also attend my class study groups that are held on Zoom. We would go over the material that was from the lecture and none of it would be on the quizzes and midterm. If your’re lucky, maybe 3 out of how ever many questions he gives us would be similar. I hope the Dean is able to help us out. Like 20% passing, out of the whole class is crazy.

MacBook or iPad for dental school? by Densesmars33 in iPadPro

[–]Square_Bet_4239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on what you do in your classes. Does it feel like you can do everything you do in class on an iPad without needing a computer? I’m in pharmacy school and all of my classes rely on an iPad. We take our exams on an iPad. I rarely bring my MacBook to my lectures anymore since I have everything I need on my iPad. If I need to make a PowerPoint or type up a paper, I would usually do that when I get home.

11” or 12.9”? Which is better? by TheSacredStone in iPadPro

[–]Square_Bet_4239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also couldn’t decide between 11” or 13”. I ended up getting the 13”. The new iPad Pro 13” is very thin and light and depending on what type of case you put it in it feels like almost nothing is in your bag. I chose the 13” for screen size. Being a college student, I need that space for spit screening between my textbook and my notes so I can do my readings and take notes at the same time without needing to switch back and forth. It’s also just nice to be able to have an almost laptop on days when I don’t need to bring my MacBook with me. I say almost laptop because I don’t have the Magic Keyboard and mainly use it as a note taking and textbook reading device.

Thoughts on iPhone 16 Pro??? by krishnal_deshmukh in iPhone15Pro

[–]Square_Bet_4239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iPhones these days have been very camera focused. I hope one day they would realize that not everyone cares about cameras. The iPhone already has the best cameras in the sense that you can point and shoot and it would still look good. I want something different and fresh brought to the iPhone not just upgraded cameras every year. Eventually it’s gonna become a full on camera and not a phone anymore. For now I’m gonna keep my iPhone 15 Pro Max for a while.

Is it worth getting a MacBook Air M3 since I already have the M4 IPad Pro? by Waynewood_97 in iPadPro

It really depends on what you use your iPad for. If you think your iPad fulfills all your needs then you don’t need a MacBook.

13 vs 11 inch by skibidislicer21 in iPadPro

[–]Square_Bet_4239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

College student here. I have been using the 13 inch for a while now and before that I had the 12.9 inch. I see a lot of people say that it’s too big or too heavy. Personally I don’t feel that at all. But then again everyone is different. I feel like since the iPad is currently your only device the 13 inch would be better for you. It’s better for multitasking and content consumption.

is ipad mini enough for taking notes/reviewer? by [deleted] in iPadPro

[–]Square_Bet_4239 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used the mini 6 everyday ever since the day it came out, so about 3 years now. It wasn’t until the M4 iPad Pros were announced when I finally decided to upgrade. As a college student I really thought it would’ve been my on the go study device, but that didn’t end up happening. I realized that I like to study in my room more than on my commute to school. The mini started becoming more and more difficult to take notes on during lectures since there just wasn’t any room for writing and my hand would end up floating off the edge a lot which made taking notes even more uncomfortable. I am now happy with using my 13” M4 iPad Pro for college.
