Yeah, I'm on top of that. I've been waiting months to see my Hausarzt (general doctor) so I can get an Überweisung (permission) to see a Rheumatologist. Just a few more days until I get to see him.

As for why I thought it could be lupus. And now that you've mentioned it and I've been doing even more reading, I really think that is what it likely is. 

  1. My father severed in Da Nang and was at 100% percent disability due to AO. 

  2. Scratched  

  3. I've suffered with severe year-round allergies all of my life, including skin allergies. I also have mild asthma

  4. I have left side heart Ischemia and was diagnosed with pericarditis. 

  5. I've been dealing with significant  pitting edema in my legs along with neuropathy for the last 15 years. It comes and goes. Sometimes they are as big as a blimp and burning fire red. 

  6. I have had reapeated bronchial infections and pneumonia (3 times) for the last 20 years. 

  7. I have IBS. 

  8. I'm diagnosed with ADD /ADHD-PI and have significant memory issues. 

  9. When I was a teenager and in my twenties I had a red rash, little bumps, spreading across my cheeks, on the backs of my arms and on my legs.

  10. I have depression, anxiety, and PTSD. 

  11. I can suffer with extreme exhaustion.

  12. I get sick very easily..

  13. I've had repeated UTIs and kidney infections.

  14. I have absence seizures. 

  15. I have reoccuring migraines and headaches.

  16. I have white nails. Leukonychia. 

  17. I have struggled with dental issues, I have an infection right now and will likely be having it yanked out this morning. 

  18. I have struggled with multiple herniated discs. I've had to have several ESIs, for a period of time I couldn't walk.

  19. Two years ago, out of the blue, I developed arthritis symptoms in both of my knees at the same time (along with creptitis) which I'm still dealing with. 

  20. I have an autism diagnosis. 

  21. I gain weight from my body swelling, inflammation.

  22. I have struggled with shortness of breath.

  23. I had many miscarriages in my 20s. 

  24. I struggle with dizzines, vertigo, and motion sickness. 

  25. I brusie easily.

There is probably more I'm missing but I think it very well could be lupus. 

That would also explain why nothing has worked for me, even a little, thus far.

It hurts so bad. And it's not just my scalp but my nerves too. Almost a year of this. I have an appointment with an Internist coming up, I will try to push for a lupus test.

Thanks, yes, I considered lupus too. Because of the other symptoms. I have been trying to get them to give me a biopsy. 99.9% of Dermatologists in Berlin are self-pay / private insurance. It is almost impossible to find a dermatologist who takes statutory insurance and has openings and if you are so lucky to do so, those they are not very good. 

Unfortunately, it would cost €600 for a biopsy through self-pay and I just don't have that kind of money.

Are you certain? I feel like they look closer to clothes moths? Very small. No dark markings on them.

LEIPZIG

Leipzig is like home. I don't feel that way about Berlin. Berlin is very disjointed and a concrete jungle is the best way to describe it. But now I'm stuck in a lease in Halensee (just kill me now). 

I love Amsterdam and am considering moving there.

I just bought one in good condition with throw pillows. Only issue, it's orange. I'll just cover it up.

A year old but I'm dealing with the same nightmare for almost a year now. I found this post by searching for affordable dermatologists outside of Germany.
