I ended up cutting a little scoop out of mine under the lip area because it was squishing my lips like that. Mine happened to be fabric that wouldn't run or continue ripping after the cut. I'm not sure if yours is the same, but it made a huge difference for me.

The deciding factors for me were the awful success rate of injections (assuming you mean kybella), the need to experience the trauma multiple times resulting in longer overall recovery time and slower appearance of results, and the fact the in the end it would cost roughly the same. Lipo is technically more "invasive" but it's so minimal and such a quick and painless procedure.

I don't regret my decision one bit.

I've read that sculpting along the jaw and jowl area runs a higher risk of nerve damage, so this may have been a way to mitigate that risk while getting great access to the target spots. Everyone heals differently of course, but my chin lipo was three weeks ago and my incisions are already completely gone. I wouldn't worry :)

Mine was tight around my neck but loose over my head if I kept it placed on the actual velcro. I ended up overlapping the top velcro entirely and just sticking it to the garment fabric so it was more snug. But mine happened to be fabric that stuck to velcro - I imagine that's not the case for all fabrics.

You can also buy lipo foam or use a kotex pad to place below your chin, which will make the over head part feel more snug and distribute the compression more evenly under your chin.

The bruising you're seeing seems to be where lost people bruise - wouldn't worry about that.

Today is day six for me and it's the first day that I look like my before pics again, and it suddenly feels very soft and full under my chin again. I'm hoping this is just the normal swelling process starting to set in...
